He mouthed those words and instantly, they all started rushing out, not wasting a single second. Amidst all these things, he did not break his stare on me. He looked at me as though he stared into my soul, making me turn into a volcano. I couldn't breathe, I just couldn't when those eyes were on me. Slowly, he neared me, taking his precious time to allure me, hypnotizing, and drowning me in the depths of his soul.

I saw how her face started to change to my angry expression, to which my mom decided to intervene. “Miracle, please calm down. Your sister is right. One of the things a soul can be intoxicated with is anger, rage, grief, vengeance, and depression, which can cause the soul to retract, to the point of starting to dissolve as it’s not in the body it should be.”

Bright eyes bloodshot and the boy paled to see the glare coming from the deepest of her soul. “Surely,” he thought, glared back to the deepest of her soul, “this heartless soul would never learn her lessons. His appearance was spotless, a stark contrast to the uproar surrounding us. Zooming in on the screen, my gaze locked with his, and for a fleeting moment, it felt as though he could see straight through the monitor, straight to my soul. I pulled at my hair, breathing in devastation before deciding to leave the room but his wet hand tugged me back by my arm. "You have to develop a soul.." he was a flick away from me. He held his eyes steady in mine as if he were chanting an incantation. I was having a hard time staring at him too close like this, a stream of coldness seeping into my veins.

I wasn't going to do anything stupid I was going to complete the mission and that would also be my last mission because, after the mission, I was going to pay for my sins. I was going to end my life. I schooled my face to reveal no emotion and walked towards the receptionist at the front desk. "Hello there, I'm Elena Davis. I'm here for an interview." I said with a tight smile. "Elena Davis, you're to go to the fourth floor." The receptionist replied with a smile after checking through her appointment file. "Thank you." I took the lift to the fourth floor and met with the secretary who directed me to the personal assistant's office.
