Mr. President's Lost Wife

Mr. President's Lost Wife

"Actually, I was just joking, Uncle. But if you want to carry me, of course I won't refuse. I'm a baby pangolin being carried by its mother." Giggling, Sky jumped onto Edmund's back. She didn't give any warning at all. Luckily, the man was strong enough to hold her weight. Seeing Edmund carrying Sky on his back, Rachel's heart warmed. She smiled quietly, even though her eyes were filled with tears. That moment ... she was afraid that she would miss it too later. *** After setting up the tent, Rachel sat on the veranda. From there, she could see Sky looking at the stars. "Come on, Uncle. We have to find Ursa Major. It is in the north. It never shifts like other constellations. Otherwise, we s

Rielle
Just like the other readers. I cried so much because of the father & daughter. It's saddening but also heartwarming. It's a great book. . I enjoyed Ed, Alice & Sky's adventure Now, looking forward to Sky, Louis & Emily's own adventure.

Finished this sweet and relaxing story. Ed really behaved like a dick so his motive doesn't hold up. Sometimes a bit too elaborate so I skipped a bit but Sky is no doubt a marvelous kid. I was curious about Alice's mindset which was not really explained but Sky made up a lot. Worth reading!

The Alpha's Slave Mate

The Alpha's Slave Mate

I realized that many depicted constellations in ways unfamiliar to me, with stars joined together in unfamiliar patterns. One illustration in particular captured my attention, showing a group of six stars that the accompanying picture identified as some sort of good luck charm. I studied the clusters of stars, memorizing their positions. Dawn was approaching by the time I finally closed the book and made my way to bed, my mind alive with new knowledge. As I lay in the dark, I thought about returning the book to the library so as not to be caught with stolen goods. But the idea of giving it up now, after it had brought me such delight, seemed inconceivable. I reasoned that as long as no one r

Love Hunting

Love Hunting

Shama sat beneath the moonlit sky, the cool breeze caressing her skin. She gazed up at the full moon, its silvery glow illuminating the vast expanse of the night sky. Myriad stars twinkled around it, like diamonds scattered on black velvet. Shama wondered which celestial body she most resembled: the lone moon, shining brightly in the darkness, or the countless unknown stars, twinkling beside it, their light unseen by most.

Marked By The Moon: Tied To The Four Alphas

Marked By The Moon: Tied To The Four Alphas

Only the sound of the party inside and the cool night air. "You know, it's really beautiful tonight...” “Huh?” I look at Eya. She points at the sky. “The stars I mean.” I followed her gaze, and indeed, the sky was filled with stars, shining brightly in the darkness. There was no moon, but the stars made up for it, twinkling like diamonds against the blackness. Eya gazed up at the stars, a smile on her face. "I love nights like these," she said, her voice soft and dreamy. "The stars are so bright and beautiful."

The Wedding Night Curse

The Wedding Night Curse

It was as if the whole world was holding its breath. I looked up. The sky over the village was no longer dotted with stars. Every one of them was gone, replaced by a heavy, unnatural black. As if someone had draped a massive sheet of dark fabric over our heads. My stomach tightened. I’d read about this once, in an old book from the Blackwell family library—when the sky loses its stars, the veil between the living and the dead becomes thin. Which means anything trapped on the other side… can cross over. I quickened my pace, but every corner seemed to stretch longer than it should. The houses looked too close together, their dark windows watching me.

The Rule

The Rule

The night was a tapestry of stars, scattered across the velvety sky like shimmering pearls on black silk. The wind whispered through the palace courtyard, carrying with it the cool breath of the desert that melted against the warmth of the stone walls. Inayat sat beneath the open sky, her shawl wrapped snugly around her shoulders, her gaze fixed on the stars. She had become familiar with their constancy, their quiet brilliance in the vast, uncertain night. There was a peace in the heavens that escaped her own world, one filled with turmoil, choices, and a future uncertain. The stars, though, they always remained — timeless, patient, and steady.

Lucevkin Dreams

Lucevkin Dreams

He lay down with the pillow under his head. “I’ve seen the stars without a planet’s atmosphere. They don’t twinkle or sparkle at all like we see here, Kay. The atmosphere of the planet distorts the reality and gives the illusion that they sparkle.” Conor explained as I snuggled up to him. He pointed to a group of five reddish bright stars over the ocean. “Those are the oldest stars in this galaxy. They’re over several billion years old. And that over there,” He pointed to a bright colorful patch in the sky over the Forbidden Forest. “That colorful patch in the sky is a star nursery. That’s where stars are born. It’s called a nebula.”

Traded to my Husband's CEO Boss

Traded to my Husband's CEO Boss

We were tucked away in our usual corner, sitting on the carpet with our backs resting against the bookshelf. It had somehow become our place over the weeks. Yvonne opened the astronomy book again; this time, she turned it towards me. “Look” It was a page filled with tiny dots of stars and planets. Her finger landed on one bright star near the top of the page. “That's my favourite” I leaned closer to the page, feeling something like current run through my body. “Is... is that the North star? Yvonne nodded enthusiastically, her eyes were so bright with mirth. “Yeah, it is”

Fangs of Fate

Fangs of Fate

One fateful night, as the Red Teary Moon Pack camped beneath the open sky, a celestial event unfolded before their eyes. The night sky transformed into a mesmerizing canvas adorned with streaks of light as shooting stars blazed across the horizon. The pack members gazed in awe, their hearts filling with wonder and a sense of connection to the vast expanse of the universe. Liam's voice was hushed with reverence, "Look at the shooting stars, each one carrying a wish upon its tail. This is a rare gift from the cosmos, an invitation to share our hopes and dreams with the universe."

STARS IN THE NIGHT SKY

STARS IN THE NIGHT SKY

Lashe asked. “Because they help each other shine, none of them actually shines than the other” Ibukun replied and Lashe smiled. At first, he really didn’t understand but he understood better now. A lot of people had helped him shine, his fans, his grandma, Uncle Sam, everyone around him and most important Ibukun. “There’s why you’ll never hear a star in the night sky” Ibukun added as she sighed and continued talking. “They always say STARS IN THE NIGHT SKY” THE END.
