People hustled around me, off to work or running errands. I stared at them all, making a list of pros and cons in my head. Should I stay and start my dream job in a town where I’d see the man who broke my heart? Or should I leave it all behind and start fresh somewhere new? No matter how long each side of the list became, I couldn’t seem to make a decision. “Han?” Liam’s voice came from behind me.

How would she fit into all of this? As I stood there, lost in thought, I realized that I had a decision to make. I couldn't just stay in this situation indefinitely, living in limbo. I needed to take control of my life and make a choice. Do I stay with John and risk being a mistress forever, or do I leave and start a new life on my own? The thought of leaving John was daunting, but the thought of staying in this situation was even more terrifying. I knew I had to make a decision, and I had to make it soon.
