My brows furrowed, confused,“Our old houses?” I repeat, “What do you mean?” “We used to live opposite each other, although our family had a feud, we became friends in secret, that's where it all began" "Our families had a feud?" I whispered, trying to recall. “Yes, but despite the conflict between our families, we found each other. We used to sneak out at night, meet in the park, and talk about everything under the stars.” A wistful smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

"We were so young and foolish back then." I chuckled, nodding in agreement. "But that's what made it so special, Elena. We had no idea what the future held, but we were brave enough to take a chance on each other." As we continued to reminisce, our conversation flowed effortlessly, interspersed with moments of comfortable silence. When Noah and I weren’t sure if we could make it through the storms life threw at us. When we questioned whether we were strong enough, brave enough, to fight for what we had. Those memories felt like echoes now, distant but still powerful. They reminded me of just how far we had come, and how much we had built, not just for ourselves, but for everyone who looked to us and saw proof that love could truly conquer anything.
