Starting Anew

With the location sent to Jake, I arrived there ten minutes before noon. Jake eventually showed up—with another woman. She had striking good looks and even took the initiative to greet me when she saw me. "Hello, Ms. Bridgerton. My name is Sonia Selby, Jake's assistant. Sorry for being an uninvited guest, but I hope you don't mind me joining today!" Jake smiled faintly and asked, "Why did you tag along if you knew you'd be an uninvited guest?" "Well, you've been talking about your wife so much that I'm curious to meet her in person!"

The Choke Point

The Choke Point

When I was choking on my food, Jillian Oakley was on the dance floor with an escort. My face had turned red as I desperately begged her to help me, but she only thought of me as an eyesore and chose to run off with him. It wasn't until I was on the verge of dying that a server noticed me and managed to save my life. Yet, the first thing Jillian did when she came back was slap the server across the face. Then, she pointed at me and snapped, "I was gone for only a moment, and you were already flirting with another woman? Since you don't care about getting married, we'll just keep postponing the wedding." I would rack my brains trying to explain myself in every possible way whenever she lev

The Billionaire's Second Endeavour

Honestly, I know this is not the best work out there and this is definitely not my best work. I will not ramble about how I started writing this book only for fun and how it became a paid story. No. I just wanted to stop by and let you all know that this book is actually a part of a series called PERFECT FOR YOU. Vincent and Joyce’s book is actually book 2 in the series. Richard, Misoo and Beau have their own book and so do Jordan and Aubrey, as well as Olivia Stanton.

With that, we started walking to his house and I never looked back. Author's note: Hello there! This is The Red Delilah. Thank you for reading my book. I know the story starts off a bit common, but please give it a chance. As you read further, things will get interesting. Trust me. Thank once again for reading my book and enjoy!

Alpha's Blind Luna

Alpha's Blind Luna

“Alright, alright. I’ll get them. Hold on.” Stomping up the stairs, I grabbed the four books off my dresser and stomped back down the stairs. Plopping down on the couch, I looked over the books. They were exceptionally old but they were taken care of so well that they still looked better than some newer books in the High Council’s library. “Where should be start?” 'Probably the Alpha King. He would have the starting point of when he found his mate. His mate’s journal would have been submitted later while he was already his mate.'

The Beginning

The Beginning

I started to finally drift off to sleep my thoughts going mute. That’s when I felt it too late. It was like one thousand tons laying on my chest, pushing me through my bed and into another veil. I tried to push back but wasn’t strong enough. This power was strong! I mentally called out to Michael. I touched the crest on my chest it lite up, I knew Michael would not only feel the burn of it but would know that I was in trouble.

His contract Bride, His secret child

His contract Bride, His secret child

Starting principle: the staying comes before the deciding. She looked at me. "Is it okay if I use that as my starting point?" she said. I thought about the ammonite. About origin stories being for sharing. "Yes," I said. "That's what starting points are for." She went back to her notebook. I went back to the survey data. The forty minutes moved with the specific quality of time that was being used correctly. Not quickly. Not slowly. Just right. --- At three fifteen. The front entrance of the Carver Academy.

The Compound (The Compound series book1)

Clara. “Hey guys.” Wheelers voice dragged me from my dream into reality, my body coming to alert on what was fast becoming instinct, it took me a moment to remember that I was at the compound, in Jake's bed and that we were safe. Somewhat. My attention focused on our team leader as I clutched the blanket to my chest and tried hard to ignore the feeling of Jake's warm body behind me. “Our shift starts in twenty, we're in D block.” He stated with a slight shake of his head before retreating out of the room.

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

Thank you so much for reading my first ever book, I leave you with the first chapter from Rise of a Queen - book 2 for your enjoyment. RISE OF A QUEEN - BOOK 2 Chapter 1 – A New Kingdom. LAMIA I looked out the window on the top floor of my castle, yes, my castle, taking slow sips from the crystal glass that held the dark thick rum, my drink of choice tonight, as I pondered over the past two years and how far we had come.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.
