The Witch Luna
I followed her, and we sat on the dust-covered marble bench just outside the burnt coven.
Agatha placed the box on the bench, and we sat on either side of it. She took out the white cloth that wrapped around the box. I still can’t get my mind out on how it was even possible. A spotless white cloth was sitting down on that part of the basement when it was surrounded by the skeletal remains of burned witches. How?
Agatha’s voice brought me out of my reverie, “It was a magical hourglass!”
I don’t know what a magical hourglass means among witches, and I haven’t read anything about other species either, but her expression tells me she is scared, no, she is terrified.
