The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

"That tech... that's too advanced for the 19th century." "It wasn't invented in the 19th century," I said grimly, wiping the grease off the component. "It was found here. Stolen. And then patented." I looked up at the observation deck. The shadows were gone. "The Stirlings didn't just build the vents," I said. "They built the engines. Katherine's family fortune... her life... it's all built on grave robbery." Valerius hopped down from the wreck of the Hammer Titan. He was covered in oil and hydraulic fluid, looking terrifying. He wiped a smear of grease from his face, his eyes still burning with the high of violence.

The Game of Truth and Lies

The Game of Truth and Lies

It was a city bathed in neon lights and steam coming off various buildings… There were towers made of brass that were also filled with glowing signs, gears turning on rooftops, and alleyways with bright crimson light as the train entered the city… It looked like something out of a fever dream. It was beautiful, seductive, and it felt as if something was wrong. Farrah leaned closer to the window as she couldn’t believe it. It was like a Steampunk City that could only be seen in the movies or read in the books. Then, with a soft hiss, the train doors slid open. A gust of warm, perfumed air swept inside… It was sweet and metallic, like roses and rust mixed together…

Love Conquers All

Love Conquers All

With brown and dark green water swirling and dripping from everywhere. The metal monster was not much bigger than Taylor or Damiens six foot four, but had all the makings of a great steampunk robot with rusted bronze gears at every hinge and what appeared to be steam spouting from its cylindrical head. The white-blue flame guy was the smallest of the group, but wider, double the width of any of the other monsters. Its whole being was the sinister dark blue flame that faded to white at the tip. Every time it took a step it left a scorch mark on the ground. Little scars on the earth it was trying to claim.

This was SO good. This is the 2nd book of Miss L that I’ve read, and she’s done it again. I love how she manages to capture a strong female lead, and managed to do it 6x in this story. I will say I’m a little disappointed in the abrupt ending. Wish there were a few epilogues honestly.

Where Do We Belong?

Where Do We Belong?

Dylan demanded answers and Charles took a deep breath before looking him in the eye. “The juggernauts used to be the only fully human town we created in this world. It wasn’t long before they began to favour machines and gears. One day they started researching ways of upgrading themselves in a painless but beneficial manner. It somehow worked and they became the juggernauts. A fully cyborg, steampunk style town where they can look human if they choose to. There is no one better to help Noah now.” Charles explained.

The Echo of The Moon

The Echo of The Moon

Below, at the base of the cliffs, the North had deployed their new weapon: Steam-Siphons. They looked like gargantuan, brass-lunged beasts, anchored to the ground by thick silver chains. They roared with a mechanical fury, pumping super-heated, Rot-infused steam directly at my barrier. The ice wasn't just melting; it was being corrupted, turning into a grey, oily sludge that slid down the mountainside like a dying lung.

The Alpha's Ruined Mate: Awakening the Lycan Queen

The Alpha's Ruined Mate: Awakening the Lycan Queen

Chapter 129: The Ironclad Horizon The modified timber-wagons did not roll; they shook the earth. The Oakhaven mechanics, freshly freed from their alchemical chains, had spent three hours franticly refitting the heavy-duty logging machines. They had stripped away the timber cranes and riveted the thick, corrugated iron sheets from the valley walls directly onto the wooden frames. The massive, vertical steam-boilers—originally built to power the screaming factory saws—were now pinned to maximum pressure, spitting long, angry tongues of orange fire and black coal-tar from their shortened chimneys.

The Alpha's Regret: His Secret Hybrid Heir

The Alpha's Regret: His Secret Hybrid Heir

The first light showed the armored carriers rolling onto the lower basin floor. Steam-powered — Xander had heard the sound from the eastern ridge, the specific heavy exhale of high-pressure systems, and had registered it as different from the electric motors of the Northern Shores units. Heavier. Older. The engineering of a directorate that had money and had chosen proven technology over cutting-edge.

Feral on the Ice

Feral on the Ice

They crossed the flickering boundary of the northern Echo-Zone, where the grass still shifted between soft clover and rigid, emerald-green pixels. There, they found them: The Iron-Keepers. They emerged from the treeline not as refugees, but as a Mechanized Migration. Their vehicles were massive, steam-belching crawlers made of scavenged brass and heavy iron, looking like something from a clockwork nightmare. These weren't survivors of the Grand Stack. "They’re from a Steampunk-Sim," Julian whispered, his prismatic eyes analyzing the pressure gauges on the lead crawler. "Project: Aetheria. It was a closed-loop simulation the Architects abandoned decades ago because the 'AI' became too obsesse
