Steins Gate Watch Order Novels & Stories

I said as I grabbed the keyboard and walkie. Guiding Ian out, I led the way down the long metal stairway as we came to the Strong metal gate. I didn’t know what the gate was made of but was told that there was not a supernatural being that could touch it without getting burnt. Didn’t even mess with it. I always wore the black leather gloves that they gave me on my first day. “Always wear your leather gloves when opening the door here. They will burn you.” I told him and watched as Ian nodded his head in understanding.

Renzo handed me a compact nine-millimeter pistol from the glove compartment before he reached for his own weapon. "Silas has a closed-circuit monitor hooked up to the gate. He is waiting for the Master's vehicle code and a voice confirmation." I checked the screen of the tracking device. "Do it now." Renzo pulled out a small black scrambler device, pressed it against his phone's mouthpiece, and dialed the gate's intercom frequency. He held the button down and a synthesized, robotic voice confirmation mimicked Master’s automated tone into the receiver. Instantly, the heavy iron gate at the entrance of the yard clicked open.

The kind of sharp that lived under the skin, not on top of it. She caught my eye and tipped her chin once. Not casual. Not alarmed. Just aware. I moved closer to her, keeping my tray in my hands like it belonged there, like I belonged there. I lowered my voice. “You clocked him too.” Stevie’s fingers tightened briefly around her glass before she set it down with careful control. “He’s been here twice this week,” she murmured. “Orders light. Watches heavy.” I felt something align in my chest. Not fear. Not panic. A pattern.

And just before his body could go all out on him and take control from him, he’s already at Steve’s building and he’s inside. “What? How did he enter without us opening the gate?” one of Steve’s guards muttered. He knows who Adrian was, so he didn’t try to confront him. But his shock was that the gate was closed, and it’s made in a way that it’s almost impossible to jump through as it’s way tall. And also, he hadn’t heard any sound if not that he saw Adrian stepping into the building. “Master,” Steve muttered as he rushed forward. Just now Steve got a notification that indicates Adrian was in trouble. He’s set up this security system in a way that he’d get hints when Adrian was in trouble, o

The desktop was completely bare—no pack software, no monitoring trackers, no clutter. I brought my hands to the keyboard, my fingers moving in a rapid, practiced blur as I typed out a complex string of bypass commands into the system terminal, hitting the 'Enter' key with absolute purpose. A dark, encrypted window flared to life on the screen, revealing a live, real-time map of the Mooncrest Iron Gates, complete with heat-signature trackers showing twenty-four armed Hawkridge pack guards moving along the perimeter wall. Right at the center of the main gate stood a single, blazing golden heat-signature that burned far brighter than the rest.

Chapter 16 Kai The gate opened at 2:11 a.m. No warning. No mechanical failure. It simply moved. Marcus watched the security feed in silence, one hand resting against the edge of the monitoring desk. The image from the Voss Estate showed the iron gates pulling inward through a curtain of fog. Nothing else moved. No vehicle. No person. Just the gate. “Run it again,” I said. Marcus rewound the footage. Same result. The gate opened.

“Then we move now. Before the next note finds the next door.” I unlock the door. Wren is waiting in the corridor. I give him the note, the new location, and the order to strip the current watch and replace it before we move. His face does not change when he reads the message. His eyes do. “North wing cleared and covered in twenty minutes,” he says. “Second set of eyes on every service gate between now and first light. If anyone is actually waiting, I want to know which crest they’re carrying when they realize she isn’t coming.”

I said. I pulled the cracked silver pocket watch out of my pocket and pressed its winding stem into a hidden rune-slot carved into the center of the doors. The watch spun violently in my hand, clicking through three gears before a bright white light washed over the mechanism. ‘Clack. Whirrrr.’ The massive doors groaned open, sliding into the basalt walls to reveal a long, dim corridor lined with pulsing violet conduits. "Inside, quickly," Kaelen ordered, drawing his broadsword as he crossed the threshold.

Follow instructions once inside. I checked in at the security booth, got a temporary pass and the house key. The guard verified my order before letting me in. I turned on my phone’s audio recorder right away—better safe than sorry, especially in a wealthy community with strict rules. I didn’t want trouble over a simple errand.

Even after I made it clear that they only took orders from me. My jaw tightened. If I hadn’t gone there earlier that day, who knows what could’ve happened? The thought made my blood boil all over again. Ten minutes later, we arrived. The black gates opened automatically as we drove in. The place was silent except for the faint hum of the underground generators. The air carried the strong smell of metal and smoke. I stepped out of the car, straightening my suit jacket. The guards stationed there immediately bowed, their voices echoing. “Good morning, sir.”
