Steins Gate Watch Order Novels & Stories

Bridge. Another turn. But eventually even her memory started slipping. Too many identical roads. Too many shadows. Too many deliberate routes designed to erase orientation. Hidden. Controlled. Untraceable. The realization settled coldly into her chest. Then the car slowed. Ahead, through the darkness, something emerged. A gate. Massive. Black steel embedded into concrete walls that blended so naturally into the surrounding terrain they almost looked grown from the earth itself. No insignia. No warning signs. No visible cameras.

she bitted her lower lip. The guard guides them in the gatehouse and start looking at the CCTV footage they had since earlier. Irish's eyes are focused at the computer and didn't let to miss anything in the footage. "Ma'am I think this is it." The guard rewinds the footage. "It's eight thirty five in this morning when they got here." He said watching the footage. A vintage car stopped when the guards didn't yet open the gate for them. A guard came out in the gatehouse walking where the driver is. He knocked in the door and Bogart opened it.

I vaulted down the stairs right behind him, swinging my leg over the Sovereign. "You aren't going out there alone," I told him, kicking the engine to life. The deep, flawless Origin-Code combustion purred beneath me. "Wouldn't dream of it, Ghost," Dax said, pulling his bandana up over his nose. The massive hydraulic gears of Coldwater’s main gates groaned. Dust and rust fell from the hinges as the sixty-foot durasteel doors slowly parted, revealing the sprawling, chaotic army waiting outside. The roar of the crowd died down instantly. Thousands of eyes locked onto the gates.

The north gate was the weak point I had clocked on my second day of walking the garden perimeter while pretending to get fresh air. It sat at the far edge of the property where the estate wall met a service road that deliveries used twice a week. One camera covered the gate itself but the angle was compromised by the oak tree that had been growing against the wall for what looked like a few years. Whoever had installed that camera had either not noticed or not cared. Ethan noticed. Which meant whoever was feeding him information about this compound had been thorough. The guards rotated at 9:45pm. Fifteen minute window between the old rotation leaving and the new one settling into position. E

Chapter 8 Alpha Lir POV We arrived at Downbridge gate, and their guards were stiff enough not to bow and that was the first thing that grated on my nerves. At Silvercrest, the gates parted like the Red Sea when my motorcade approached. Here, two guards in a dark heavy combat suit made from a strange, dull-looking fabric stepped into the road and forced my driver to roll down the window. “Identification,” the guard said in a flat voice. He didn’t care about the Silvercrest symbol on the hood.

I see red. Stealth movement happens every side of me, as warriors launch the attack heading to their designated locations. I push off the ground, my feet running towards the front gates. They don’t even see us coming. I don’t even need to shift. My hands are wringing necks of the gate guards just as sirens plast through the grounds, our attack being announced.

An obsidian stone is inside my seal, and the guards fall over themselves to let us inside once they know who I am. The wall is ridiculously tall, made of thick, reinforced steel. I crane my neck back, move my hair back to see it all. The portly guard pulls a lever, and a portion of it lowers. Clunky and groaning, the ice flys out, the gate forcing its way open. The gate lowers completely, warm water slowly trickles out, and the inside of Estate Eclipse is steaming. I grab onto Dante and he helps me past the blocks of ice until we cross the other side of the gate.

“Let me in, Rowan. I’ll call Aneliese… and you can talk to her yourself and ask her to come back.” “I don’t want to get back with Aneliese, Gabe. You think I’m an idiot?” I slammed my head against the steering wheel, feeling dizzy. I looked at the gate—imposing, not just visually but in its impenetrability, the first barrier keeping me from Olivia. The sharp, decorative fleur-de-lis spikes at the top reinforced that the property was well-protected. It stood about three meters high. I knew the automatic gate system worked, but the security cameras, managed from the guardhouse, hadn’t been operational since the guard was let go.

He met my eyes without a flicker of hesitation. "Not going to happen. I'll make sure of it." He pulled out his phone, already scrolling through a list of names. "I've already ordered Allison to set up watchtowers at every corner of the gate. Full surveillance, no blind spots. And I've assigned six of our highest-ranked Sentinels on duty. Rotating shifts, no gaps. They won't get within a mile of this pack without us knowing." I stared at him, searching for doubt, for any crack in his certainty. I found none.

It's the last place they will look for us. Closing my eyes, I visualize it—its stone walls, fortified defenses, a place where we can regroup and plan. In a heartbeat, we’re surrounded by its cold, secure walls. Annalise staggers slightly, breath still labored as she holds the Star to her chest. She looks up, and for the first time, her gaze is steady and grateful. The look in her eyes causes my heart to skip a beat, I have been longing for that look since the day my mate closed her eyes.
