Annika The morning light permeated into the room through the windows blind and settled on my face. I quickly dragged the blanket over my head properly to stop the light from blinding me. I shut my eyes tightly to force myself back to sleep and hissed at my stupidity of forgetting to close the window blind before sleeping the other night. My eyes suddenly opened wide on their own as the events of the other day began to rush back into my memory. I left school early to meet up with my mother and I overheard her talking to my stepfather about all he has done. I remember standing on the edge of a bridge and the last thing I can remember vividly was dropping into water and allowing it to drown me.

I don't stick around to find out what they are talking about. I run up stairs and grab my backpack, I still don't have many clothes we were still waiting on my delivery. I guess it doesn't matter anymore, its time to move on before he decides to kill me. Lilith is whimpering in my head but she doesn't argue. I make my way back down stairs, I really hope I don't bump into Sebastian because I just know he will try and talk me into staying but I can't now that the vampire king knows I'm a werewolf it wont be long before he gives the order to kill me.

Manuel left my neck, my blood leaking out from his mouth as his eyes went round the building in question. I felt like I was going to throw up as memories flooded in to my mind with unforgiving relentlessness. *** I screamed in my head as fangs elongated and bit into my neck, sucking out my blood just as Manuel had done as red eyes faced mine. I opened my eyes to find a figure towering over me, talking in words I couldn't understand.

“I went to your campus today after you didn’t come home last night. A look at the security footage outside showed you leaving with Lucius, and since I knew exactly where he lives, I rushed to find you.” I accepted the explanation. It made sense. “How did you find out about Lucius? I’m sure it’s not common knowledge that vampires exist, or the world would be in disarray.” Caleb chuckled. “You’re right. I only know about their existence because I used to work for the National Registry of Anomalous Beings.” I blinked. “The what?” Blue eyes twinkled. “It’s a secret organization under the government. I worked there as a researcher till I branched out and started Lumen.”

[Valerie] ** Three Months Ago ** I had all the tools I needed to execute the revenge I was hoping to wreak on the one who had robbed me of so much in my life. The only thing missing is a bag of nachos. The movies themselves are veritable classics, especially The Bride of Frankenstein which is in black and white. Most of them are horror movies, as in written by Stephen King or directed by him. Kate would’ve watched them any day with the Bali Girls but, being alone and in an unsavory cellar, she chickens out on Poltergeist.

/Lukas POV/ The King of Hell muttered a familiar verse under his breath before creating a portal to the Underworld. He was directed to Hades immediately as if his arrival was anticipated. Lukas kept a straight face, walking in the hallway, dimly lit by the fire torches before he was inside a room.

The unpleasant sensations of teleportation came suddenly, and also abruptly receded. They stood in a large area, and many eyes stared at the arriving company.
