I only know about their existence because I used to work for the National Registry of Anomalous Beings.” I blinked. “The what?” Blue eyes twinkled. “It’s a secret organization under the government. I worked there as a researcher till I branched out and started Lumen.”

So he inspired me to be creative with my writing. Stephen King- He is in my top 5 favorite authors of all time. I love reading his books. I love how dark, real, lighthearted, and horrific his stories can be. I love the world and characters he creates. He is main reason why I gotten into horror. His books "The Shining" and "Carrie", which were turned into classic movies, helped influenced me to create this story.

"I'm in the mid-dle of a book called Christine right now. I circle different authors, and when I find ones I like, I go through the backlist, but not all at once, and I'm back on Stephen King for now. After that one, I'll read Carrie and The Shining, then find something else to read." "Really?" Evan said, glancing at me, a wide grin on his face. Before I could ask why he was so happy, he told me. "I love Stephen King books. There are some newer ones out, but some of my favorites are some of the older ones. How did you get into it? It's all horror stuff. Most people get squeamish." I shrugged. I got squeamish about bugs and snakes, but what's there to be scared of from a book?
