He moved forward and crossed his arms. “Explain what you meant by saying you were dying,” Raven said flatly. Rowan stared at him, offended. “Can’t you see? I’m dying of hunger.” Selina blinked at him. “You know you own a restaurant, right?” “No, you don’t understand,” Rowan said and dragged a hand down his face. Selina lifted a brow. “I’m listening.” Rowan fidgeted like a kid caught doing something dumb. Then he smiled, small and awkward. “I was desperate for your steak. The one you made before. I can’t get it out of my head. I want it again. It tastes like something from a real restaurant.”

Caleb introduced us as he walked towards Rowland. "Hi" I muttered with a small wave, I was nervous as fuck and with the way Rowland was looking at me, it wasn't making things easier for me. "What the heck was that? Who still waves like that?" I chide myself internally. "Rose, lovely to meet you," Rowland answered with a small smile on his face. There was a vast difference between Caleb and Rowland. While Caleb maintained the neat guy status, Rowland on the other hand was covered with tattoos and piercings at the most uncomfortable places.

Ryder stared at him for a moment, his face unreadable. “Sit,” Ryder said. Ryder raised an eyebrow. “Words are cheap.” Rowland nodded. “I agree.” He reached into his bag and pulled out his laptop.

It wouldn't be surprising if she has decided to get her hands on Mr Stephens, he is so handsome, young and wealthy after all. Ms Rowland is also a rare beauty, her body is to die for, you know? Maybe she's dating him to pay off the debts her family owes him," Mr Alec Sanders, the editor added dreamily.

Rowan was happy everything worked well as planned, he couldn’t wait to tell Aurelio and see his reaction. With smiles on his face he stopped as soon as he got to the car seeing Rolph was at the back of the car on a phone call. He raised his brows and then the window beside him slowly went down. “he had been on that call since you left” Steve said to him. “Who could he be speaking with?” Rowan asked no one in particular then called him out. “Rolph??” Rolph jerked back immediately hearing his name from Rowan. “We’ll talk later bro” Rolph said and ended the call then walked to Rowan.
