During my first week with Xanders Financial I became friends with not only Missy, my assistant, but also Steven, who is also a manager in sales like myself. VANCE'S POV AFTER a while, Steven, Ryker, Ivan and Dert stood up and then they walked together. My heart slowly beat faster as I watched Steven. Something caressed my heart causing my anger to subside slightly. I couldn't help but feel in awe of him. Right from the moment he stood up, combing his fingers through his hair, sighing while biting his lips for a moment, the way he pursed his lips and the way he walked while accompanying the three became attractive in my eyes.

I got up and walked over to him, his fur was red with blood, I called out to him but he was not responding. I pulled him by the tail and he turned around silver eyes, he crooked his head. He nodded. “Get Jayson and Vivian here.” he raised an eyebrow. “They are mates.” Grayson’s eyes widened in shock. “What the fuck!” we turned, Steven was standing by the door. He had this look in his eyes I couldn’t understand. “Who is mated to whom?” I sighed. “I found out recently; Vivian and Jayson are mates.” Steven came in and took a seat opposite me.

Aria said, getting up with the help of her clutch. I was still seated outside the mini cafe with a soft drink place in front and my phone in my hands, typing to Steve. “I've gotten to her” I texted him but no reply yet. Steve said he wanted to speak with Xanthea and convince him to help his business, which was not the case because Steve was already well off. While I don't know his actual goals were, I could assume he needed to use him to expand his pack. Xanthea is well known as the alpha with the most members, which consist of able soldiers and a wide range of land. I bet that's what Steve is aiming for.

I noticed every single detail about him – from the way his chest rose and fell from his rapid breathing , to the tiny droplets of sweat that dripped from the tip of his hair.
