“Though you did call me dumb.” Steven is back to looking uncomfortable. “Yeaaaah,” he drawls. “It was supposed to be a joke. A badly timed, improper joke. I’m not known for my jokes.” He and I both chuckle slightly. Steven sits up straight. “But I am sorry, too. And I accept your apology.” I smile brightly at him. His eyes crinkle up behind his glasses. I always thought Steven was the less attractive of the four brothers. Then again, it was like placing four gold rings next to each other and saying the one shaped like a square wasn’t as nice as the round one. All of the rings are still made of gold.

Steven fidgeted in his seat, as if something umcomfortable was happening, before a small extraordinary sound escaped, releasing a pungent smell. "Ahh. That's better. Makes me feel good." Steven muttered to himself. Wait what just happened? Did Steven just fart? Before I knew it, I was laughing my ass off, not noticing the change of expression in Steven's face. "What was that?" Said Steven, looking around. "Who was laughing?" Now Steven was on his feet, and so was I. Did he just hear me? OH MY GOD!! CAN THEY ALL HEAR ME NOW? NOW THAT THEY BELIEVE IN ME?

He added. I flinched when I felt someone touch my shoulders. "They are my friends." Steven said. "Steven!" They all greeted. I made way for them to hug each other. I teased. "You ate them, didn't you?" I pointed accusing fingers at him with a grin plastered on my face. I laughed again, "You did!" I gasped. Steven did something I never expected him to do, he laughed and when he did, I felt warmth. He laughed again and again and I couldn't help but laugh too. "Okay fine, I did." He said with a serious voice now. "They were really delicious." He added and I couldn't help but smile.

Madam Comfort announced and he turned to look at her. His eyes lingered on her for a while before he locked eyes with her while smiling and she wondered what was funny to him as her lips shifted in disgust. He stretched forth his hand for a shake as he said “Hello, I am Steve and I also attend the same university as yours”. She gazed at his stretched hand for a while before slowing extending her hand to receive the shake when she noticed the silence everywhere, the madams were waiting for her to either reject or accept the hand before they pass their judgments across.

The growls after the growls which she was hearing were really funny for her. So the mate bond wasn't just too much for her only. "Want to know boring facts about me or something interesting?" She asked with a smirk while they groomed slowly with the music. "Obviously something interesting." Steven said with raised eyebrows, interesting to know about it. "Hmm… let me think…" Faith pretended to think and then her face immediately filled with a humorous smile. "Oh I know! I might die today! Ain't that interesting?" She asked with a teasing smile while Steven looked at her in shock.

Jane quickly remarked, "Kid bro, It is truly delightful to see you laughing again, and I am very pleased that Susan has managed to bring joy back to your face." Steven smiled, casting a glance at Susan, filled with excitement at her presence. As they continued their conversation, they engaged in light-hearted banter, making it the most enjoyable day for Steven since his arrest. He felt fortunate to have seen the love of his life, Susan, once more, and she brought him laughter like never before.

Steven wiped at the foam on his face, his fingers sliding around clumsily, making it even messier. “You’re gonna get it!” he threatened in the sweetest, least-threatening voice possible. “Oh no! Someone save me!” I mocked, holding my hands up, but I couldn’t stop laughing. Steven giggled so hard he could barely stand, his little shoulders shaking with each burst of laughter. His eyes were sparkling, cheeks flushed pink with excitement and pure happiness.
