Star's POV: Hey Lo do you want to go to the haunted house now. “Yeah sure thing let's go” Walking through the entrance I start to get a shiver running down my spine but I ignore it because it's probably just the haunted house jidders. A few minutes later I start smelling something nasty turning the corner I see a girl about my age laying there dead she is so bloodying looking closer I see a note against my better judgement I pick it up and read it written in blood it says in big letters, "STAR I'M COMING FOR YOU!”

Try to be in a group or pair. I grabbed the remote to change the channel as I got irritated. Out of nowhere, Breaking News has scrolled on the screen. What now?? A murder in broad daylight. Three people discovered a dead body in a public area, and this time it was a make. Did the killer strike again?? Is anyone safe?? The room was silent; you could hear the remote drop on the floor. I couldn't believe the picture that they showed. "Holy shit."

Something sticky coats my fingers and I step back in horror when I get my first sight at what the box contains. It's a massacre. A shoe massacre. At least it looks like it used to be a shoe. Now it only resembles a shoe in shape, but someone has ripped the base of the shoe to shreds as if it's been put through a lawn chipper and then dropped in the box. Red goo, that I hope like hell isn't blood is drizzled over everything, making the stark white shoe and the paper fluffed around it belong to the horror movie set. Taped on the underside of the top flap is a piece of paper with chicken scratch writing which says, "Enjoy your brief time at the top."

In fact, even staying awake felt like a very difficult task and due to this, I decided to forgo dinner and head straight to bed. As soon as I hopped into bed, I suddenly screamed out in agony when my knee roughly bumped into something extremely hard. In pain, I turned around to first check my knee and when I saw that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, I decided to look for the object that had almost murdered me. To my utmost surprise, I saw that it was a phone pack and on it was a pink colored sticky note which had a short letter written on it. The note read;

My heart plummeted into my stomach as I read the note: 'Looks like your little cheating tramp's back with her mutts, and you welcomed them with open arms. Big mistake. Now, their lives are in danger. Her first, then the pups, and finally, you.' The words froze me in place, the note trembling in my hands. I quickly opened the box, nearly retching at the sight of a dead lizard inside. Just then, the door behind me opened, and in my startled state, I spun around, claws and fangs bared, ready to attack. It was only Kristopher, standing there with a puzzled look on his face.

When I got to my office, I panicked. I sat down on my office chair and saw a spider walked towards a notebook on my table. I grabbed the notebook quickly and bravely slammed the notebook over the spider. The spider decimated which created a gross goggly look on my table. I grabbed a tissue and wiped the spider with it and dismissed it into a garbage can. By the time I was done, I sat back down and contemplated how Alpha Nate's wound seemed to have healed overnight. It was crazy. Alpha Nate's POV

By now the hairs are pricking the back of my neck so hard that I could swear I was shocked with an electrical current. Suddenly I see a flash run down the stairs and to the front door. I look at Mr. Stillson shockingly as he falls backwards and topples a couple steps downward. “What the.” I stop in mid-sentence as I watch a very young girl run back up the stairs with a strange looking doll in her arms. I carefully do not look into her eyes but make the mistake of acknowledging her before she takes my hand and tries to pull me up the staircase. I hear a loud boom come from behind me as I see Mr. Stillson yell out after he stomps his foot on the ground in protest. “Nelli, back upstairs ri

I grab the sticky note and read the entire message. It says, 'Mr. Scott, Mr. Hunderson is going to be killed by Shadow's orders. I know who he is, but I can't let you know his identity or else my family will be killed. This is the only way I can assure you that Mr. Hunderson is doing great. The patient can be taken care to his house. At this time, maybe shadow already knew about this. My life and my family is at stake. Please don't ask about me or anything inside the hospital. He is everywhere. Watch out for your backs, he is like a rattling snake. You know he is there, but he is wicked and fast enough to bite you. He is having fun, and please ruin it for everyone. She shoved the notebook closer to my face. I looked at it again. This time I noticed that the whole picture was made up of tiny words. Just one word, actually, written over and over. Danger. And inside the monster's gaping mouth were four phrases: "Too many secrets So many lies Too many aliens So many goodbyes"

The smaller one gathered up the lighter things. I made a note of the plate number out of habit, and then unfolded the flyer and stared at it as they drove off. It was a cheap-looking photocopy covered with what looked like ads for horror movies that had been torn out of a newspaper, with hand drawn pictures of skulls and bats filling all the other blank spaces.
