I covered Gabriella then walked over to her bathroom. Her bathroom is really big. Designed gold and white marble tiles on the wall and floor. There are two sinks displaced on the other side of the bathroom with a huge mirror and a cabinet below it. On the right corner of the bathroom is the toilet. Right beside me is the huge glass shower. In the middle of the bathroom, there are mini stairs that lead to the bathtub with a sunroof-perfect view of the sky just above the bathtub. I walked over to the sink and opened the cabinet. I found three new packed toothbrushes. I took one and removed it from its packet.

I say, and immediately make way to the bathroom, knowing she’d protest. It’s a good thing her clothes fit me. I close the door of the bathroom against Wilma’s complaints. It smells like the Bath and Body Works aisle in here. Curiously, I inspect the rows and rows of bottles on the glass shelves in the bathroom, and realize there’s enough shampoo, conditioner, and body washes to last three girls three separate lifetimes. Everything in here is made of transparent glass; the shower stall, the sink, the shelves, even the towel handles, except of course the toilet seat, because that would be too ridiculous to believe.

It even feels expensive. My eyes find the bath and my breath gets knocked out of my lungs. It’s so fancy. How could anyone ever use this bath? It should be on display in some art gallery. It’s a pinkish/ White marble free standing bath with gold legs. My gosh. It’s so cute…

The shelves and rods in this closet and the one across from it, are completely bare. Further down the little hallway is a bathroom. When I emerge into the bathroom, I gasp at the size. It is easily the size of my whole room at Patty’s. The entire bathroom is done in marble with black fixtures. The soaker tub is massive, big enough for four regular size people or... Tyson and me. There are two vanities and Tyson already has his things at the smaller of the two. There’s another walk in closet in here and it has all of Tyson’s suits hanging inside.

Eka said tiredly. He pushed Rina to that old woman in maid dress, he scratched his hair as if annoyed with something. "Nabila, take that stupid woman to the bathroom" Eka ordered her maid. "Yes master", Nabila bowed again. Nabila patiently guided the distraught woman to the bathroom, she then told her to take a bath to refresh herself. Rina nodded obediently to Nabila's suggestion, she entered the large bathroom all by herself. There is a jacuzzi bathtub next to the bathroom door, square-shaped, there is also a large shower room next to the jacuzzi. What's impressive about the bathroom are the small dragon statues on every edge of the jacuzzi.

"I have to take my time with my bath." She rushed over to her enormous en-suite bathroom, which was bigger than most people's bedrooms. The bathtub was a luxurious freestanding soaking tub made of smooth white marble. Jems turned on the taps, watching the water pour out in a steady stream, and added some lavender bath salts that immediately began to dissolve, releasing a calming scent into the steamy air.

“If this is the cage, at least it’s a very pretty one.” I bark a strangled laugh. “Try not to let the gilding distract you from the bars.” She flops back onto the bed, arms spread. “These bars have a thread count.” I head for the bathroom, needing a second alone before I start screaming or crying or both. The bathroom is obscene. Marble everywhere. A glass‑walled shower big enough for a football team, a freestanding tub under a window, two sinks with mirrors framed in soft light. Plush towels rolled in baskets. Tiny bottles of products with labels in French.

He watches Elias disappear into the bathroom, hearing the clang of metal taps and the rush of water echoing against the tiles. A few moments later, Elias reappears, wiping his hands on his trousers. "It's ready. Towels are on the rack." "Thanks," Aiden mumbles. He manages to drag his heavy limbs across the room, pushing open the bathroom door. The space is tiny, a wet cell made of chipped ceramic and peeling paint. The tub is an old, claw-footed beast shoved into the corner, filled with water that steams slightly, despite Elias calling it cold. Aiden closes the door, the latch clicking with a finality that makes his shoulders sag.

' I shrieked and stared at the place in awe. The bathroom was in adorable rainbow colors, the colors blended in so well with each, that it almost looked unbelievable. Two white sinks over on top of a counter made of colorful tiles and a silver bathtub seated at one corner of the bathroom. At another end was a pretty gold glass stall with gold bench and shelves that had numerous bath products of both male and female, toothbrushes and three air conditioners. At another side were stark colored towels, neatly folded into the silver shelves, while the wet one hung down a long hot pink rail. Cherry on top, there was a urinal next to the abso-goddamn-lutely astonishing toilet!

The lure of a hot shower is pulling all of us all deeper into the room. The showers are in the back, a row of ten stalls separated by six-foot high metal panels. Across from the stalls, as Lieutenant Gregerson promised, are shelves lined with piles of white towels. Bars of soap sit on a smaller shelf above the towels. I’m not sure why the towels and soap weren’t scavenged long ago—perhaps once the Anomaly happened, people shied away from venturing inside. I don’t really care why—I’m just happy the stuff is here. The exposed side of the top towel in each pile is covered in gray dust, but the towels beneath should be just fine. We all start peeling off our grimy clothes, then grab a bar of soa
