The stone truly was beautiful, though I didn't know what it was used for, but I didn't want to part with me, deep down, I wanted to have the stone always with me. I walked back to my room, my feet padding across the floor of the room and I put my rock back carefully into the drawer. It was a gift from a water fae and I cherished it. I wondered if I would ever get to see Solas again. The pages of the book called to me and I once again settled into my spot on the bed and began reading.

Star’s jaw clenched. “Let’s be honest with each other, Stone, you don’t care what happened there, you’re here because you want to know how we escaped.” Stone’s smirk grew in slow motion and his hands rose in faux surrender. “You got me.” Star sighed and shook her head. The book was already perched on her bed, she retrieved it from her hiding place shortly after Amanda left expecting summons from Stone, but instead, he surprised her with a visit. Flipping open the spine of the large book, she lifted the sword from the bed and brought it down with force on a point on the map. The sharp edge tore through the page and the ones below, but she hardly flinched.

Stone asked staring at both of them. "A book"Theo repeated "Yes, blue "Mr. Stone replied.....while Isabel was using facial gestures to tell Theo to shut up but he was just staring back at her blankly...
