Stories About Time Travel Novels & Stories

There was no possible rational explanation for this. ‘Going back in time?’ Allison wanted to shake her head at the absurdity of the thought. Time travel. Basically, a hypothetical ability to travel backward or forward in time. It was usually a popular concept in science fiction, but until now, there was only scientific debate and speculation about its possibility. Some scientists explored the idea and even proposed a few methods, but everything was purely theoretical, and they may even violate known laws of physics. Allison herself believed that time travel was merely a fantasy.

I hope we can still stop everything from happening. I know it... Curiosity can make them kill and when they found out that it's a time machine, they'll surely try to find whoever used it and that's where their never-ending questions will follow. They can even experiment with us and use that time machine to travel to the future and steal some inventions just to rule this world. I can already see that coming if we won't be able to get the time machine away from them.

It is valid from my perspective. "I'm sorry you were ripped from your family Jessa. After this war, I will see if I can get you home to visit them. If you would like," Braxius offers. Kissing Braxius on his cheek, I sadly say. "They are no longer here, Braxius. I'm the only one left." In this time. "I'm truly sorry, Jessa," Braxius says sincerely. "I will see them again," I tell him confidently. I hope I can someday get back to my own time. But for now, I'm content to be with this man for a short while.

I’m not sure what I expected to happen, but I had an overwhelming urge to not change anything unless I knew it would provide some kind of benefit in the future. There are certain time travel stories that suggest events are fixed. That whatever a time traveller does, in the past or the future, they’ve in effect already done it. The way things are, is the result of those actions; going back to change something makes no difference since you already went back and this is how it turned out. In fact, because you went back, this is how it turned out.

"How do you know that?" "Lisa, you traveled back in time already," Kizzy began to explain to me. "Your future self, whether it be a month or a year or five to ten years from now, traveled back to the 19th century. You haven't done it yet, but your future self has. The reason tempus summatum is so dangerous is because you are removing yourself from points in time and manipulating the past where you are going to. It isn't like the conventional type of time travel where, if you were to travel back to the 19th century at this very moment, you would see yourself writing rituals with Marie Laveau. No, you aren't there in the past anymore. Your body is breaking itself down and surrendering itself t

Using its calloused and wrinkled hands, it scanned the book frantically, thirsting for information as to why Ember existed when all of the Alavarens were killed to extinction. The creature read the book page by page until it happened to open the most valuable information that was written in the book. “The Alavarens mastered the art of time travel. They knew how to escape death by escaping time.” The creature was shocked. It heard that kind of magic before, but no one know if it really existed. It was a myth. Time travel is prohibited by the good witches since it was a form of dark magic. “So this is how they do it. Does that mean that they were still alive and that just jump from one time to

He asked them. "It's because I found a time-traveling machine. And guess what happened? I was sent to another timeline... It wasn't a hundred...years... Ago... But millions of years ago. There I found many things... Discovered many things... And I died again. However, my time machine save me and sent it to another timeline again. But it was millions of years ago than the first time traveling." He said. "You... Are... Awesome!" Lan Sung called. "But why did you came back to this time master?" Lan Sung asked.

-Yes, yes, Mom, it's just that I saw Esau. -But how can I congratulate you, daughter, and what happened? I told my mom everything, how it went, and I told her that Esau was going to visit me in the afternoon. -Yes, of course, daughter, it's not a problem for me, but only for an hour, okay? -Mommy, two, two hours please. -All right, just two hours, no more, no less, that's fine. -Yes, yes. ... When Luisa arrived, we went to my room and there I told her everything about Esau, she laughed and said, "Ha, ha, if you had told me I wouldn't have believed it, but hey, that's nice:

What are these people saying? Did I...somehow...fall back seven years of my life? Time travel? I turned to the familiar row of books on the small bookshelf. It was mostly science books, and I ran to them, opening the first one I could grab. Nothing. Then only something about the theory of relativity in the second. Then the third had an article. The writer of the article was in the top left corner of the page, and in it, he was talking about how he believes it is fully possible to bend time and pass through, letting yourself in through different horizons, at time either long past, or never experienced.

Or have me arrested to spend my life in a prison. That's what I assume anyway. And all of this is for a few souls who didn't decide this life. We are slaves of the Immortal, Time. I've never actually been given an order by him, but I still hold the ability to travel backward in time, if he allowed me to. I've never explored the ability. Way too scared. I understand why we are despised. Time is cruel. We harbour the abilities to ruin the lives on many innocent people. "Kezi, get in here," Avia insists. I had been so deep in thought, I hadn't noticed she had managed to start the car. Avia's abilities never seem to end.
