SAVED BY THE LYCAN KING

SAVED BY THE LYCAN KING

I write little stories just for them. The characters look suspiciously like my children. It makes them giggle—even if they don’t understand it all yet. I sit on the nursery rug, both babies in my lap or at my side, and I read aloud while Kael tries to chew the pages and Lyra claps every time I do a funny voice. Sometimes, when I’m deep in the middle of one of my silly tales, I sense him behind me. Ferris.

“Yes, honey. You do know that daddy loves you so much but sometimes, adults have to go their separate ways so that they can sort out some of their problems. Otherwise, I love your mommy because she gave birth to you, okay.” Angel started crying. she was so emotional as tears rolled down on her little puffy cheeks” Daddy and mommy, please don’t leave me alone. I am afraid. who will read for me bedtime stories? Daddy, your voice always makes me sleep well and Mommy, I like your little cuddles “she climbed down from her mother’s embrace and went to her father who picked her up and kissed her forehead.

Once Upon a Tryst

Once Upon a Tryst

We are searching for him, following every lead throughout this world and the next, but each time we think we've gotten close to something real, it turns out to be nothing, or worse, a lie. I miss them both so much. Every night I update her on our progress, tell her about my day, and read a bit from one of my favorite children's books, one that my own mother read to me when I was a girl. I am hoping that our son is enjoying them as well. I hear that babies grow to love the voices of the ones who speak to them from outside the womb, and I know that our son is in there listening.

Pucking Forbidden Claim

Pucking Forbidden Claim

It doesn’t take long before he returns, grinning like he just found the key to all of my suffering. A stack of books drops onto the table. I glance at them, unimpressed. Parenting books. Rook plops into the seat across from me, flipping one open immediately. He’s not even subtle about holding them up so the cameras outside can see. “‘Bonding With Baby: How to Ensure a Strong Attachment in the First Year,’” he reads, resting his elbow on the table. “Sounds like something you should brush up on, Mercer.” I don’t react, watching as Harlow slowly finishes her bottle. “I think I’m doing fine.”

Married by Contract, Destined by Fate

Married by Contract, Destined by Fate

It was a moment of unparalleled happiness, the culmination of our dreams and hopes for a family. Before long, the doctor arrived, cradling our precious babies in clean, soft swaddling cloths. Their cries filled the room, a testament to their vitality, and both of us couldn't help but smile in response. With gentle care, the doctor placed our newborn son and daughter on Rose's chest. Their cries gradually quieted as they nuzzled against her skin, seeking comfort and connection. It was a sight that filled my heart with overwhelming love and pride. As I watched the undeniable bond forming between a mother and her newborns, my heart swelled with an indescribable sense of awe and gratitude. They

Alpha's Girl

Alpha's Girl

It was everything I could dare to imagine and even more. More interesting was the fact that the baby in me must have gotten used to Max’s voice that he made sure to kick whenever he heard Max’s voice. This delighted Max greatly, who then made it a practice of reading aloud to him every night. All to the baby’s delight. Anytime Max began to read, he’d kick and make movements that I felt, and then he’d settle to listen to Max read. Sometimes, when Max was done, he’d kick again,, but sometimes, he wouldn’t. This showed me that he’d probably fallen asleep or not. It was really thrilling.

Bad Girl Reborn

Bad Girl Reborn

John said. "But the baby hasn't even started growing yet, what story can it listen to??" John pressed on, "If you listen, then it's like the baby is listening too." Diana was completely defeated. Blinking her big eyes, she said, "Then I don't want to listen to the stories in the book. How about you make up a story?" John: ... "I don't know how." "Practice for the future. What if the baby also wants you to make up stories? Will you say you can't?"

Twin Alphas' Celestial Luna

Twin Alphas' Celestial Luna

She only speaks in two or three word phrases, how much of a book would she even follow? “We don’t read to babies for the story. The tone and tempo of your voice is just as important as the words. It soothes them, and they learn that the words on the page have meaning, they don’t need to understand it. If you hold her and read to her, she will associate your scent and your voice with comfort and security.” Wendy’s words sink in, and I realise I haven’t really made as much of an effort to bond with her as I could have. “I will try that, thank you. Any other pearls of wisdom you’d like to share?” I hope she has a damn necklace full of them, because I know jack shit about kids and we are about t

Absolutely amazing! I loved both books! The main story arc is very impressive. I love that I can feel the emotions of the characters as I read these books. The best part about this book is how interconnected the characters are to one another. I would definitely recommend both books!!

This book (and the first as well) is awesome!! The author really takes time to develop her characters and story and follows through with all the different story arcs and twists and turns! But, what is the third book in this trilogy?? Am I missing something, or is it not published yet?

Duziell protested, trying to fight back. A small smile formed on Ezekiel's lips as he hugged his son tightly once again. "It's already late; why aren't you sleeping yet?" "Because mama and papa aren't home yet! I want to hear a bedtime story!" "Then, should I read you a bedtime story? What do you want me to read?" He climbed up the stairs to Duziell's room. "The new book is the ugly duckling!" "Okay, then." He laid Duziell on his small bed and sat at the edge. He tucked him in and grabbed the stack of storybooks, taking out "The Ugly Duckling." "Close your eyes and imagine what I'm reading to you, alright?"

asked Alex while sitting in his current position. "Thank you for coming. I have a few things to tell you. The fetus in her womb is quite weak. So from now on, Jenny can't have many thoughts, can't feel tired, and must try to eat healthy food, " said the doctor who began to explain everything from the beginning. Alex nodded in understanding. He also had time to ask for some food suggestions for Jenny so that later Alex could ask his assistant to help prepare them every day. "Then thank you, Doc," said Alex then, as well as Jenny who by this time had risen to her feet.
