We could hear the others screaming and the metahumans rushing to the other’s side to protect them. Before the storm could make contact with any of us, the triton began to absorb the storm. Byron and I fought to keep ourselves from being overwhelmed with the force that we almost sunk where we stood. And then, finally, it was over. No longer was there any storm that kept us trapped. All we saw at that moment was clear skies.
