I saved the rest for the children’s schooling. For a long time, I could not leave the village. I had fields to tend, children to raise, and a grief so heavy that even breathing felt like labor. At night, I often dreamed of the motorcycle. In the dream, Dominic rode slowly along the mountain road. The sky was gray. The wind was cold. He never turned back, no matter how loudly I called his name. Our children sometimes asked what kind of man their father had been. I always told them the truth that mattered most.

Furthermore, she had been to his house the night she died! I checked the time and saw I still had half an hour left, so I quickly said I needed to speak with Hector in person. Only by understanding the details of the situation at the time could I better help Tina escape. I ran to Hector's house as fast as I could. I lay in the hospital bed and watched her sit quietly beside me. Memories from the past came rushing back one after another, but what we were now felt completely different from how we had once loved each other.

She quickly reached back to stop me, preventing me from going any further. After everything I had already done, her suddenly telling me to stop only made the frustration worse. However, since Phoebe insisted, I had no choice but to give up and settle for enjoying the moment through the stockings again. Just then, our surroundings went dark. Regardless, the rumbling of the train continued. The train roared into a dark mountain tunnel. About ten seconds later, the light returned. "There are more than ten tunnels on this route. The one up ahead is the longest. It takes a full three minutes to pass through!"

That was probably the trigger before the apocalypse. I remembered it vividly because it fell on my birthday. 10:28 AM. It was still 10:25 AM. Three minutes to know if this was all a dream or if life was playing a trick on me. Two minutes had passed and I was tapping my feet nervously as I stared out the window. The moment the time shifted to 10:28, I held my breath. But nothing happened. I couldn't help but let out a scoff of disbelief as I ran my hand through my hair. What was I thinking? That time travel was real?

Maddy and I are sleeping soundly when all of the sudden Ant jumps in the bed between us. "Morning bitches!!" he sounds chipper, "Wakey wakey eggs and bakey!!" We are startled awake and completely dazed. "What the fuck?!?!" I say as I almost fall off the side of my bed "Get up. It's adventure time!" Ant is using his body to make the bed bounce while laughing. "Who the fuck let you in my house?" I ask pissed off as I look at the time on my pager. "And why did they let you in at five fucking thirty?"

It certainly is futuristic, as if coming from those sci-fi movies. “And what could that be, you say?” I furthered. I honestly, sincerely hope that this is not something that will revive Mary or anything of the sort because the least I want in this world is a zombie best friend, but judging by the excitement her husband exuded last night, the case may be something along those lines. “A time machine.” He responded.

She would go on to learn that her own father also had had the same powers as hers which ultimately became her motivation to become a hero; using her powers to stop terrorists, save people from a rocket that had malfunctioned during launch and even travel through time. Natasha turned over so that she rested her head over her right hand, letting her golden hair fall over her face and had to force those thoughts out of her mind except for the very last one. He grinned and gave his grandmother a hug. Soon her house was filled with her laughter. She served him some tea and his favorite biscuits. “So, you mean to say that you have to come back to the past? So, you can save her?” “I don’t know grandma, somehow before I lost her, I was sucked into this year.” “This is definitely not a good thing. The rules of may change if your past nor anyone’s past is changed. That is why we didn’t want to time travel or anything like that unless we need to.”
