Zero POV I step out of Justin's place, the steel door clicking shut behind me. I grab my gun from the shelf, slide the clip back in, and tuck it into my waistband. My bike waits in the shadows. As I swing my leg over and rev it to life, Justin's last words loop in my mind, over and over, like a broken record I can't shut off. "A similar mask was being auctioned in the black market, but not as advanced."

Another voice joined—one he hoped to never hear again. Bishop. “Hand Luca over,” Bishop growled, “and maybe we’ll leave you enough bones to bury.” Riven didn’t hesitate. “You want him? You’ll have to go through me.” A laugh—low, amused, deadly. “Gladly.” The gunfire exploded again. Riven moved on instinct, firing back, rolling behind a steel drum as bullets ricocheted off the concrete floor. Sparks flashed like angry stars. Dust rained from the ceiling. He didn’t know when Luca managed to crawl toward him—only that he suddenly felt fingers clutching the back of his boot, weak but desperate.

“Now, you can tell me a story. My favorite is the one about Cutter’s magic book. You know that one, don’t you?” “Can’t sssay I do,” I said, still slurring a bit. “Aw, come on Minus, you know it. It’s the one where the dumbass hero biker tells the scary guy with the big knife where Cutter’s book is,” he said, pulling a giant Bowie knife from a sheath on his belt. It was the same kind Viper used on Loro, from its size to the style of the handle. “You and your b… boyfriend Viiiper get those as a mmmatching set or something?”

On the buckles is a crest I’ve never seen: A coiled serpent-like symbol wrapped around a vertical blade, etched in gold. The man scans the room, eyes sliding past the low-ranks and I didn't hide. I has my face covered, with just my eyes revealed to him. I have to play this smart for our escape. I don't think he knows about the position of my other members. He takes in my stance, the gun in my hand, the replica’s design. “You’re not one of ours,” he says calmly. Too calmly. “And yet… you’re holding our gun.” Shit.

And the brothers were the line holding it together. She took a breath. “Then we’d better make damn sure it holds.” Nolan’s mouth curved slightly. “That is the plan.” By midnight, the clubhouse was quiet again. But beyond the fences, the fight was already in motion. Bounties. Calls. Marco wasn’t finished. And neither were the Vipers.

Inka's Point of View "Is everything ready?" I heard Read asked through his phone I looked outside of our car and saw the cruise ship, a lot of people are arriving and entering the ship already. I took a glanced at Read as he was discussing something to Wayne. I feel like something is going to happen later, they just didn't tell it to me, I can feel it. I ran my fingers at the fabric of my dress, under this at my thighs are a small gun the Read gave me before we went here together with my small knife.
