When Destiny Brings A Second Chance Mate

When Destiny Brings A Second Chance Mate

“Blossom is the daughter of the Chaldean Chief. Her marriage to Prince Zadekiah is meant to bring peace and prevent future conflicts.” For as long as I could remember, the rogues—also known as the Chaldeans—had been fighting hard to claim lands from Babel State. This alliance could stop future conflicts, but why did it suddenly happen now? Who initiated it? Why didn’t it happen in my past life? A sharp pain twisted inside my head. I pinched the space between my brows. Lydia tilted her head, a low amusement pooling over her face. “What’s going on between you and Prince Zadekiah?”

The history of the predators was orally transmitted to the new borne , a story told at night meal gathering just as I tell you stories before bedtime. I said to my children. All the new borne would gather round at moon light and there in their middle was a old figure, one who was best at telling stories, it had been a gift passed on from generation to generations, the talent of story telling and that old figure was your great great great grand father. Papa Kabahka. “ One thing we never knew was that we were gradually building an empire but that empire was a disaster and a schism to mankind, to all the clans, to the village.” These were the very words of Papa Kabahka.

Lovers In Disguise

Lovers In Disguise

And suddenly Bella's strange behavior makes a whole lot more sense. She's still tense as hell as she clears her throat, then responds with her voice oddly strained. "Yeah, right, yesterday. Did you find that book you were looking for, on, what was it, the propagation of European Medieval societal hierarchy into the American colonies?" I follow their exchange with a near sick kind of glee on the inside, while I hope that my pleasant smile on the outside doesn't look like a shark ready to go for his helpless prey. I seem to be doing a good

Isimud remained alive the whole time. “I don’t understand. Why doesn’t Isimud die?” “Why don’t the names of story tellers like Homer, Shakespeare or Dickens ever die? Because their stories keep them alive. A story inhabited by immortal beings will keep the story teller alive indefinitely.” The vision changed, it moved to the back room of a tavern in Babylon. The tavern was owned by Isimud, no one but him knew of the backroom. He was showing four jaded aristocrats into it, they acted with patronising disdain, but they were expectant, as if some particular entertainment had been promised.

Forced Marriage With The Ruthless Alpha

Forced Marriage With The Ruthless Alpha

"Balthazar was so feared in his time that no one dared to say his name in person. They nicknamed him Baba Yaga." "Baba Yaga?" I asked, feeling slightly interested now. "What does it mean?" He tried to remember for a few moments. "I don't know the details myself because it's been a long time. I think the name is of Russian origin ... because Balthazar lived there for some time." "You liar" Jake grumbled from across the room. Alex shook his head before finishing reading the document in his hand. As time approached our scheduled departure for Pack Yellowstone, Vincent became more and more nervous. Jake had left earlier on his routine patrol, so there were just the three of us in the room. Alex

The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

Babel spoke, he hurriedly used his body to block Xyrielle’s body. “Miss Xyrielle, I feel that the situation has changed. We should retreat quickly!” Mr. Babel spoke with a tense expression on his face, almost as though he had already sensed that it was the birth of some kind of huge crisis. At this moment, he had a horrified and fearful expression on his face…

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

The madness of life

The madness of life

If not you, then your descendants will enter The new Eden again. "Then Babylon will be destroyed, as will the Tree of life. - It's your choice! - No, this is the fate of a free man… The first drop of rain that fell on the land of the city of Babylon announced the decision of the Supreme Father. Noah built the ark, knowing that only those who repented and who are ready to build a new world can be saved. However, the rest of the people in the city of Babylon rejected the favor of the Supreme Father until the very last second of their lives. The Supreme Father asked Noah for the last time in his life to write the third commandment on the tablets of the Bible.

BANABELLA

BANABELLA

“The first letter read: ‘I, Prince Habeb, the Prince of Suramy demand from you, Banabella, whose name I discovered in my dreams. I beg you in the name of your own god, grant me my wish, and avoid being uprooted from the face of the earth.” The second parchment read: “Because you have hidden Banabella in an unidentifiable place, with the intent of deceiving me, I’ll tread upon your bodies and make your kingdom bare like ordinary earth. Till I see Banabella, the people of Muzagah shall not be privileged to take in air into their nostrils before the sun sets tomorrow. Prince Habeb speaks!’

Shadows Of Goodbye

Bella I, like many, feared The Beast. No one that had ever laid eyes on him had lived. I grew up hearing tales of the plagues that he had unleashed when his thirst wasn't satisfied. The last time was in 1470 BC. Those plagues mostly affected the Middle East, but all humans feared it could spread so they started selecting tributes to serve as sacrifices.
