As Eli and I head to the border, I have an idea of what this is. Over the past couple of months, both Cara and Angel have had, mostly vampires but other supernaturals as well, come to pledge their allegiance to the Guardians of the Realm, as they call us. Word of Angel's imprisonment and the Guardian's defeat of the vampires has spread quickly.

Angela’s POV “Who are you?” I asked him while I’m clutching the blanket on my chest. He smiled at me sweetly. “I’m Cleidon. I’m your guardian angel.” I furrowed my brows at him. “You? My guardian angel? Are you insane or what?” “No! Believe it or not, I’m really your guardian angel. The almighty descended me here to save you.” I rolled my eyes and took the ballpen on my side table and pointed it to him. “You are a robber, aren’t you?” I took a step back. “Or maybe, a r-rapist?!”

The girl smiled at the old nun, Sister Ally. “All this, we're truly thankful to God because he gave us a guardian angel that can help us.” She said. “Guardian… Angel?” curious, she said. “Ahh, guardian angel because the kids here call him that.” “That seems like a long story?” “Oh, you said so. The children just called him guardian angel because they also thought he fell from the sky on us.” “It's like i want to get to know that person.” “He's a very kind person and i can see in his eyes how kind his heart and how sincerely he is to helped the kids here.”

She came to the security booth personally to thank me. “Ethan… if you hadn’t spoken up, I might never have woken up to what was happening to me.” I felt embarrassed. “I just did what was right. The evidence and the law saved you.” Clara looked at me earnestly. “But not everyone has the courage to help.” Later, the family gave me a generous, legal reward. I didn’t stay a security guard. The second angel’s name was Michael, who was the middle brother that wanted peace among good and evil but lost his fight to balance the two brothers out. The third angel’s name was no other than Gabriel, who had wings as dark as night, with

Whether true or not, the story remained intriguing. “But I think that companion is actually an angel,” Elizabeth continued softly. “Every baby is always protected by an angel. That’s why sometimes we are surprised when a child falls from a high place and is not hurt. Older people often say that something is there to protect and catch them.”

“Then it’s settled. Tonight, we prepare the rite. But understand once the guardian is bound to you, she may not be what you expect. Protection often comes at a price.” The words sent a shiver down Chloe’s spine. But still, she nodded wiping her tears with the back of her hand, her voice fragile but steady. “I’ll pay it. Whatever it takes.” Melinda’s eyes narrowed, searching Chloe’s face for hesitation. When she found none, she exhaled slowly, almost like she pitied her. “Then you must understand something.
