Four days later Ada closed her eyes, letting the sweet air travel into every part of her body. Dry season had parted ways and now they were kicking off for the first time into raining season. Her stomach was lifting and something she didn’t think she would ever feel in her life time walked into every part of her mind. Peace.

Silence hit like a dropped blade. Then Jaxon groaned. “Again.” Mara frowned at him. “Again?” “It’s a long story.” Rafe added dramaticly. “I hate that sentence.” She snapped. "Explain. With all the details." Maddox’s gaze locked on mine. He knew. I knew he knew. Still, puting this into one logical story will be hard. Rafe pointed at me. “She vanished for five days in magical cavern, fights with Hollow Mother and returns carrying an heir tied to four alphas. I’m allowed one dramatic sentence.”

Was he in some way a fae? “You okay?” Dreyma tapped the top of my head with her staff. “Ashai?” I shook my head, trying to refocus to give my opponent my full attention. Snow was thick right now. It had been the worst snowstorm in ten years and we were still expected to train. Apparently, across the barrier, the fae have erratic seasons fueled by magic. Our seasons were usually hardly noticeable when they changed, maybe just a slight dip in the temperatures during winter and a slight rise during summer but we never expected the snowstorm that blanketed us in three feet of the cold, icy powder.

The Spring, the Summer, Autumn, and Winter... consecutively. These 4 seasons happen in a cycle of a century. But on the other ream. Which were called the Mortal Realm, where beings like Humans exist. Everything happens so fast.

With one final grimace in my direction, Rowan wrapped his arm around her shoulders and swept her out of the building.
