I was just a poor art student then, an orphan working shifts at a coffee shop to pay tuition. I painted in my spare time, dreaming of my own gallery show. Then one day, a rich bitch from school poured a scalding latte all over my final project. "Oops," she sneered. "Something this pathetic was never going to hang in a gallery. I was just helping you take out the trash." I tried to fight back, but her friends cornered me, and a slap stung my face. That's when Damon appeared. He wasn't the monster he is today. Back then, he wore an expensive, handmade suit. A god who’d stumbled into the wrong part of town.

I then sat down, still keeping my guard up, and gestured for them to speak. The stranger began to speak, their voice trembling with fear. They told us that they had been cast out of their pack, and that they were seeking a new home. They told us of their journey, of the dangers they had faced and the hardships they had overcome. We listened, our hearts softening as we heard their tale. When they had finished, I asked them if they wished to join our pack. They looked at me, their eyes filled with hope. "Yes," they said, "more than anything."

And hence the conclusion: some flayer tied the poor dog to a tree in the middle of the forest, dooming him to a terrible death by starvation. The huge black dog, noticing that the girl was approaching, became worried. Looking at him, Anika stood next to him, hesitant. While he, raising his ears in interest and wagging his tail, looked at her with the same pleading look. As if to say: don’t go, don’t leave me here. Seeing that it was almost the very time, Heloise held a pile of food in her hand and threw it over to the mouth of the alley, "Go ahead!" The food all hit the bodyguards who were pursuing her. The group of stray cats and dogs all brightened up their eyes when they saw this, rushing over there regardless, some even pounced over for the slight bite of food, directly jumping on people and tearing them apart. "Where did the wild dogs come from?" "Ah ah ah - they bit me!"

"It's going slow. I don't know, do you know anything about this woman? Is she gonna scream bloody murder when she sees a bunch of strangers inside her house? We don't even know the name of the rogue she was living with to even say he let us in." "Ah, yes we do. Turns out one of the rogue pack is Gina's mate. He's been filling us in on everything. The gray wolf's name is Paul. And last Ben, that's Gina's mate, the last he heard, Paul was about to get evicted. The woman was sick of him following her around. She had threatened to call the police. Too bad she didn't. She lives in Steve's beat and he would have been able to alert the pack sooner. Oh well. Ben had heard her name was Sarah, and he

A companion, someone to dispel the quiet of my apartment, a reason to leave all the work in the office and get home. Slowly, as if they didn't want to scare me away, the dogs strolled closer. I held my breath, my heart melting as they approached me. I reached out and stroked their soft heads, laughing when they leaned into my touch. “Well, hello there,” I whispered, my fingers sinking into their thick, clean fur. “Where did you two come from? You don’t look like typical park strays. You’re way too handsome for that.” I was eating a hamburger, and seeing their intense focus, I started breaking off pieces to share.

I will never be allowed to hunt because I cannot shift, I will never be allowed to have a mate because my 'defective' genes might be passed on to my child, meaning I will be stuck here, to shrivel and die miserably, maybe of old age. I refuse to die like that! If I'm going to live a life like that, I'd rather die early but with a little bit of style! "You will bring shame to my name." I looked at him directly.
