I touched my ears and felt something sticky on my fingers. When I brought them in front of my eyes, I saw warm red blood and the sight horrified me. I screamed and got up from my bed with a start. Was I dreaming? I looked around, my heart beating wildly against my ribcage, and touched my ears immediately. No blood was oozing out of them.
