My Ear Popped When I Blew My Nose Novels & Stories

"You didn't see who did this?" I sigh and knead my temples. "No sir. I seen the shoe and nobody answered me, so I opened the door assuming someone was hurt...ugh..." It hurts to concentrate. My head is throbbing, and my nose broken. My sad little ladybug nose stud barely holding on to the swollen mess of my nose, slightly crooked from being reset. My brain swims, my head like a fishbowl and my thoughts are little more than random food flakes just settling to the bottom where they congealed and make no sense to me.

Letting go of the hand that was choking me, I reached out and dug my right hand thumb in to his left eye. The man lets out a started yell as my thumb disappeared in to his eyes socket. The feeling of his left eye popping at the force of my thumb and the squishy noice that came from the pop made me want to throw up but it served it's purpose. The man tore his hand away from my throat and pulled away, clenching his left eye with both of his hands as he did. I quickly drew in large gulps of breath in to my lungs and struggled to sit up.

Elaine's Pov “I'm not thinking about anything so shut up!” Finally, I was able to remove myself from Zade's lap. Rushing to the corner, I quickly took out a small napkin to clean my nose. What type of woman was I to have a nosebleed while on a man's lap? This is crazy! But just as I knew that Zade was about to say something else, a knock came from the door. I went to answer it, adjusting my mask. It was Ray. When he saw me, he had a shocked look on his face but it quickly changed to something more serious.

Huh. Alright then … I turned and started walking back to the road to my car. It happened in about a half a second. I didn’t even know it was happening until it was over. There was a horrible popping sound. And then a boom .. like a jet was flying into my house. A huge and heavy pressure blasted into me and I went flying through the air…. Landing on the pavement right in front of my car. It took a moment. All I could hear was ringing in my ears and everything was white. Once it slowly subsided I realized that my entire body was hurting.

She said, "I didn't bring it, but I've had issues with this ear in the past. I was injured, and there was some internal bleeding here." The doctor found it a little strange, as the condition wouldn't usually recur. "Were you injured again recently?" Zoey gave it some thought, then finally nodded. "I was slapped. It was quite a heavy blow. It was a little hard for me to hear clearly with this ear at that time. It would ring every time other people spoke as well. It got a little better after that, but I still can't hear clearly sometimes. It's like some residual effects that weren't cured."

He pressed the barrel against my right ear, less than an inch from my eardrum. In the footage, I squeezed my eyes shut, trembling. At the dais, Caleb was shaking. He wanted to rush over and turn off the screen, but his legs would not move. BANG! The gunshot blasted through the hall's sound system, making everyone flinch. A large-caliber handgun in an enclosed space. It was not a gunshot. It was a bomb. The blast threw me against the wall. Blood streamed from my ear and nose. My eyes were wide, my pupils dilated. My mouth was open, but no sound came out.

His men tried reasoning with him and I felt my oxygen flow shortened before we heard a big blast. BOOM!!!! The big loud blast sent the three of us flying into different directions of the room. I flew and hit my back hard against the wall and I screamed in pain as I felt something crack at my back. I feared it being my spine. I cried out and shrieked as my ears kept on ringing due to the loud blast. I blinked to stable my vision but it got all the more blurry and my back ached badly making me wince in pain. I tightly wrapped my arms around my belly and bits of fear kept making my heart pound even faster as worse scenarios filled my head about my baby not being okay.

he yelled, remembering, his voice getting louder each time. He grabbed a clean towel from the nearby table and pressed it into my trembling hands. “Pinch your nose. Right here. Hard,” he guided my fingers to the soft part beneath the bridge. I tried to tilt my head back. “No, no, forward!” he corrected quickly, angling my head down. Blood dripped onto the towel, but at least now it wasn’t choking me. He ran to the kitchen, nearly slipped. In minutes, he returned. He handed me a bag of frozen peas, and pressed it carefully against the top of my nose.

Tears filled my eyes i'mmediately while my ears rung piercely in my head. I absentmindedly wondered whether my nose wasn't broken.. it sure hurt like hell. I reeled back but then before I could gather myself, bright lights all of the sudden flashed in my vision only for a second then a white cloth was slapped on my face. It blocked off my nose, mouth and eyes.
