Roger's point of view: I saw the look on her face when she knew what I was. I saw the fear that she had while looking deep into my eyes. Part of her didn't want to believe that the one standing in front of her is a true alpha. You might be wondering but a true alpha I can be. Well, you can tell that I am an alpha bloodline, but stronger than a normal alpha. Why? Well, that also can be explained. The more I kill the more I get stronger.

My vision sharpened, my body felt weightless, and my reflexes were near supernatural. I could hear the girl crying behind me, but I couldn’t stop. I wouldn’t stop. His lips parted slowly to speak, but no words came out of it. He didn't even think I would make it alive. I expected me to be dead, my body decomposed. Whatever feeling that had me quivering before died—I killed it. I marched forward, a new found strength and confidence arose in me. I stood fearlessly beside Kael, not caring about his opinions anymore.

I bent down, reached out to pet it… And it died. Just like that. Its body convulsed once, and then those same black veins I had seen on Callahan crept across its skin.
