Jack's ridiculous friends laughed showing their weird-shaped tooth. Ace didn't reply, he stayed silent. Jack chuckled and looked at him with a glare. A sudden gush of pain jolted through Ace's body. His stomach ached, his arms lost tension and his legs began to weaken. 'He will not get the better of me,' he thought as he dropped to the ground. His tongue was soaked in the taste of blood. Bruised and wounded, with a leg in agony, His head was pounding. Jack's kicks and punches kept on raining his body and he couldn't do anything.

What they both said caught my attention, and now I believe that the whole situation is kinda serious.

Strength is knowing when to stand your ground and when to walk away. It’s about protecting the ones you love.” Auren was silent for a few more steps before asking, “Is that why you always stay close to me?”

She wasn’t weak. Not anymore.

It was purer, stronger, and more domineering. He was much stronger than before.
