I knew we had a mountain to climb. As she began her presentation, her voice emerged as a tremulous whisper, her words jumbled like puzzle pieces refusing to fit together. Her discomfort was as conspicuous as a red flag in a snowfield, her eyes darting anxiously around the room, skirting mine as if my gaze would morph into Medusa's and turn her to stone. Her sentences fragmented, ideas ricocheted off the walls without a clear path or purpose. The narrative thread was lost in a labyrinth of missteps and stutters. Her hands fluttered like distressed birds, her body language a cacophony of unease.

It was different when someone interrupted your verbal argument, but when they disrupt your thoughts, you know they are incomparably dominant. His single word had managed to shook her to the core. She knew she had to speak before the voice asked again. She already wished for him to be mute, realising his voice alone could swirl her whole body like a cow in the tornado. She tried to speak, attempting to hide the obvious stutter of her tone. "Tara"

The words seemed to fall like a question mark, while waiting for an answer. His mask of confidence fluttered; his face slipping open onto a glimpse of uncertainty underneath. "D-dude, I'm so sorry," he stammered, the words skipping from his tongue like a scratched record, hesitant and unsure. "I must have mistaken you for someone else," he finished saying, the sentence trailing off almost at a sigh over the acknowledgment of his mistake.

I don't bother correcting myself. Anything I say will be a disaster. My words tumble over each other and my tongue curls when I'm flustered and nervous. Right now, I can feel both happening intensely.

Proof that he was losing his mind. He picked up the book. His fingers trembled as he opened the first few pages. The words swam before his eyes….letters twisting, sentences breaking apart, meaning slipping through his grasp like water through his fingers. He blinked hard, trying to focus, but the words refused to stay still. They danced and blurred, mocking him. ‘I can't read. I can't even read anymore.’ Rolox leaned forward, his brow furrowed. "Can't you read them?" Louis shook his head slowly, shame burning in his chest. "I can't. The words…they won't…I can't…"

I didn't know what to do; borrowing money was not even in my mind because how would I be able to pay it back? I let out a breath in frustration and opened my word puzzle book. Searching for words in any puzzle book always helps me. It is weird, yes, but whenever I was frustrated, angry, sad, or something related to any of these mentioned, solving puzzles did it for me. I searched for the word 'Discombobulated' in the letters arranged randomly. I squinted my eyes, hoping that it would expose the word quickly but that wasn't working. I put the pencil in my mouth, staring hard at the book. It was getting so difficult so, I skipped to the next word, 'Onomasiological'

I stumbled. The world tilted. I fell.

he whispered in my ear but I just can't comprehend his single word . I was so so lost in his body warmth, his closeness that It was tough for me understand it surrounding. The thousands of butterflies in my stomach was making the situation more worse for me . It's just . I don't know..... Suddenly, I felt his body getting far from mine. I opened myhooded eyes and looked towards him. I see him smirking. And his smirk helped me in gaining my senses back to me. "Aaaa....mmamereee....ppa..aasa mmmatt... aaayaa karooo..o" I don't know why the hell i am stammering. My body was shivering and i am feeling dizzy .

She found my hand gestures funny, and it frustrated me that I couldn't speak. I had never felt so humiliated in my entire life until today. Why wouldn't my tongue and throat work when they were perfectly structured? “I…… s….” I forced out the words, but it only came out like wordless stammering. “Did the mute just try to speak? I believe she just said, 'I. Am. Stupid. And. Can't. Speak…..' No, wait a minute, did the mute just sing? I believe she did.” The room erupted with laughter once more, and I desperately wished for the floor to swallow me whole. Shame and embarrassment washed over me as I struggled to comprehend how they could find joy in my suffering.

Also, seeing what Jemima was actually trying to say was really hard. ************ Jemima's words are left hanging in the air as my eyes pop up immediately, wide with shock and alarm. "P-o... oor," I managed to stammer, my voice trembling with emotion as I involuntarily threw the drink in my mouth away as it is, the juice flying onto the table and all over the floor. It happened so suddenly that the impact stunned me, reacting through my body while poor brain processing was happening.
