His head snapped around toward her; the sudden movement causing the bird to fly away. The blonde looked offended, his lips forming a slight pout. “I can be patient.” Faline sat beside Eric and glanced at Trūx Seiki who was watching her with a smile. “Here. I’ll show you," she said. She took the bread from Eric and began demonstrating how to earn a bird’s trust. Just when she had coaxed the bird to eat breadcrumbs out of her hand, Tara’s loud voice scared it away.

Looking up, she spotted a black bird flying in the direction of her home. The cawing echoed through the woods, piercing through the silence like a knife. Its sound was both eerie and comforting, as if the bird was guiding Miranda on her journey home. The cawing was not continuous, but intermittent, almost as if the bird was speaking in a language Miranda couldn't understand. Its voice was rough and hoarse, yet had a strange melody to it.

The butterflies dancing in the garden are the most colorful ones I have ever seen. Not far away came the sound of birds. I looked ahead and saw two white peacocks strolling in an empty meadow. A blue-feathered macaw flew past and soon landed on a branch. An old woman was sitting in a wheelchair under a tree, her hand holding birdseed to lure the macaw. The macaw took one look at the food in her hand. It swooped down with its wings and pecked at some of the food with its beak. Then it flew back to its original position, its beak slowly chewing the food in its mouth.

Jai checked once again on the bird, noticing it was still busy, so he whistled softly to get its attention. “(whistle) Birdy, hey!” It attracted the bird’s attention and it suddenly looked up. Upon seeing Jai, the bird stood up straight and tilted its head to the right. It then squawked like a goose and stepping its right foot backwards as if attempting to run away. Jai smiled softly and held out his right hand while keeping his other hand behind him but visible in the bird’s sight. “Hey… We just want a ride. Think you can help us with that?”
