Aiden began to tiredly name objects in his room, mumbling softly as he looked. "Window....clock....door....dresser...suitcase". Suitcase. His mother had gotten him that suitcase when she had supposedly gone 'grocery shopping' that one day. What a shame that it wouldn't be put to use....it'll only serve as another wasted effort from his mom now. The thought made him frown. He wished his mother would care a bit less about him. Standing up, he made his way towards the black suitcase before opening it and looking at the compartments. There were neat little slots and areas to put stuff in, even a zipper pouch for smaller items.

The right side was where Charlotte kept her clothes, but it was empty—there wasn't even a pair of socks left. Only a few hangers were left in the rack. With Charlotte gone completely, Jason’s earlier confidence began to waver. Susan walked in wearing Charlotte's silk nightgown, a cup of milk in her hand. "Jason, drink some milk." Jason took the cup and sipped the milk. "It's hot!"

He looked up at her and pointed in the direction of the exit before he turned and began to walk in that direction. "You have not aged a day," Charles said as Marie walked to him.

He notices me struggling with my suitcase. “Let me.” I stare at him for a second. I’m shocked by the offer and wonder what I’ve done to deserve such a thing. He was going to throw her out, and he did, to Susan's surprise.
