The Doctor's Convict

The Doctor's Convict

I tried to walk to him and tell him that we would be okay and we would survive this when Sandy hit the metal door of the cell a couple of times and she shouted now. She barely had the time to walk to where we were before my cell was swarmed with people. Men and women dressed in prison jumpsuits. Different colors, sizes, and different smells assaulted me. Suddenly, I understood what they were talking about. This isn’t just a hit or some people after the bounty, this was a massacre. I stood still in my corner watching Michael pushing some man away, then he stabbed him a couple of times in his chest and let him go to drop dead.

Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don

Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don

“Do you have any idea what they’ll do to us if we surrender?” Michael’s jaw tightened. “They’re not going to kill us.” I scoffed. “You think they’ll just slap cuffs on us and throw us in a cozy little cell? That’s not how this works, Michael. The second they get their hands on us, we’re dead.” I leaned in closer, my voice dropping to a dangerous growl. “You think I don’t know what happens to guys like me when they get caught? The second they have me in chains, I’m a dead man walking. And you? You’re no better. They’ll gut you for information before they put a bullet in your skull.”

The Lansing House

The Lansing House

He couldn’t recall the last time they had water or food. “This is Staff Sergeant Carter Reid; move away from the door!” Asher moved to the side, and ten seconds later, a blast busted the door from its hinges. As flashlights appeared in the dark cell, Asher held his hand in front of his eyes. People moved into the cell, and then somebody was kneeling in front of him. “Romeo 52 reporting, 7 prisoners found alive.” The man lit up his own face, and Asher sighed with relief. They were fellow soldiers. “Name and rank?”

The Alpha King's Labyrinth

The Alpha King's Labyrinth

My eyebrows knit together in confusion. "Alpha Alexander wants to speak with you," Raphael says in a gruff tone. He takes an old iron key from his pocket and slides it into the lock of my cell. Raphael walks into my cell and unlocks the chains that hold me to the ground with a twist of the same key. He puts the key back in his pants pocket. I memorize every moment that he does, watching for any opening that I can use to run. Raphael grabs ahold of the chains and leads me out of the cell. The sound of the chains clink together as I walk slowly behind Raphael. As he opens the door to the underground cave I am blinded by the bright light of the day. I have no clue how long I was down the

I love this Author. She tells a story well. it is always annoying when I'm reading a story that seems the author is retelling the same thing through each character ( their POV), but I feel it's just another way to make money🫤. Anyway, thank you for telling the story well, keeping me interested
Traci Williams
This story was a welcome twist on werewolf romance. Well written. Engaging characters. I still have questions about Alexander’s continued use of the dungeons, but I’ll let the readers figure that out. Otherwise great story!

THE MAFIA'S PRISONER

THE MAFIA'S PRISONER

“How could my father…? He never told me—” “Enough talk,” another Les Veilleurs member interrupted. “She’s coming with us.” The two groups squared off, exchanging threats. She shrank against the wall, her mind racing for an escape that didn’t exist. The standoff escalated. Tension crackled in the air as weapons were drawn—knives glinting in the dim light. Her chest tightened as hopelessness settled in. Then a calm voice rang out. “That’s enough.” Everyone froze. Chateau turned toward the voice, her gaze landing on a lone man standing at the alley’s entrance. His presence seemed to still the air itself, his cold, calculating eyes sweeping over the scene before settling on her.

A Bride’s Revenge: No Longer the Backup

A Bride’s Revenge: No Longer the Backup

If they keep going, those prisoners won't make it out alive! "Mr. Smith… Perhaps that's enough? If they keep going…" Before he could finish, Victor suddenly opened his eyes and asked coldly, "By the way, who ordered the attack on Ariana?" "It's… um…" Officer Zeller stammered, unable to answer. He couldn't exactly pin it on Brian—or himself! Panicked, he pointed at the cell and ordered, "Hit harder! Don't stop until I say so!" "Yes, sir!" The female prisoners' screams intensified. Victor, however, appeared to have grown bored of those screaming. He pulled out a gun from his waistband. "These prisoners… They're all death row inmates, right?"

This novel seems to be rushly, not contentedly completed! there are some unresolved issues yet need to be tackled, although the Author dragged already for too long with so many irrelevant episodes that can actually be skipped off! thinking n planning of too many situations sometimes lost your focus
Charis Shiloh Sabellano
is this the only story the author write? anyway. the story is real good tho i thought the books is just starting to spice things up. it leaves too many questions. like what's the real motive of victor. will Ariana reveal herself as susan. williams team up with ariana how ill it be. even to evelyn.

The Wedding Jilt: Gangster's Revenge Bride

The Wedding Jilt: Gangster's Revenge Bride

Chapter 70: Confrontation and Escape *Valerie's POV* I'd spent the entire train ride to Florence studying Victor's phone, learning everything I could about Michael's patterns and contacts. The messages painted a picture of a man who'd been playing a dangerous game and was now paying the price for trusting the wrong people. His most recent messages had included location data, desperation making him careless about operational security even though he was a supposed ‘tech guy’. A small hotel in the historic district, the kind of place that catered to tourists and didn't ask too many questions about guests who paid in cash.

Beyond My Mate's Betrayal

Beyond My Mate's Betrayal

Regardless, I never stopped fighting nor believing that my mate would move mountains to save me if he had to. "Dude, you look like a human burrito. Wait till your dad hears about this," Kylan's chuckles brought us back to reality. It wasn't time for us to rejoice. Not yet. We still had a couple of renegades to take care of. "I feel bad for the old guy. Your father trusted you, Fabian," I remarked just as a squadron of warriors caught up to us. Fabian lowered his gaze. "His father can deal with him. But Michael is our prisoner. Arrest them," Gavin instructed the soldiers.

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

We reached the end of the hallway, to find a lone rogue sitting on the mat in the corner of his cell; he was not chained, just slumped over, head between his knees. “Get up you filthy mutt!” Mike hollered. The prisoner lifted his head and I was surprised to see a young boy, no older than 15 maybe, as I did not detect he had his wolf yet, a look of fear in his brown eyes, and his greasy brown hair was sticking up like he had run his hands through it multiple times. Mike opened the cell and stepped in, grabbing the kid by the scruff of the neck and dragging him up to his feet to stand in front of us “Tell them what you told me.” He ordered.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.
