He seemed to be fading. “I’ll see you again, Jennah.” The buzzing grew louder. Jennah opened her eyes. Her alarm clock was going off. She reached over and slapped a hand on the snooze button and then focused to make sure she was in her room. She blew out a breath and tried to shake the fog from her mind. That explained a few things. The dream was so real, but not at the same time. Too bad, really. That man, Dominic, her mind had invented was quite nice to look at. No more chocolate caramel popcorn for you before bed, she thought as she slowly sat up.

She's already there, handling his skates. "He is Coach Schmidt. He coaches junior skaters in summer" Everly whispered. "I was informed of a Summer Camp and summer, I don't know how it'll work for you, but you might be included." "A Summer Camp?" "Hm. I heard he rarely takes a foreign skater. If he does, then maybe they are exceptional," she added. "Go and stretch on the side, try to relax your muscles more." It is not a competition nor a local ice show, but the thought of a professional criticizing his every move sounds challenging. He had experienced harsh critiques in ballet, from his novice days till he could perform and hold a role in theater.

"O-Of course. We're friends." Satisfied with my response, Bethany finally let go of my arm and followed me inside. I opened the door, but the office was pitch-black. "Dad, these are the friends I mentioned, the ones coming to work here for the summer," I said cautiously. Before I could introduce them, they pushed past me and crowded into the room. "Hello, Mr. Parker. We're here for the summer jobs. May I know what the pay is like? Is ten thousand dollars a month okay? Oh, and I'm not really into factory work. Can I get an office job instead?"

Sure enough, the look in his eyes flashed confusion. "A nightmare? You haven't had one of those in years." I chewed on my lower lip causing the worry to grow evident on his features even more. I exhaled heavily as I knew he was waiting for clarification. "Not necessarily a nightmare. It was a dream where you guys were there to save me. I always dreaded waking up afterwards though. Because everytime I woke up, I realized that it was just a dream..." I felt the stinging sensation in my eyes and quickly took another deep breath.

I flung her hand aside and slapped her across the face. Quinn, clutching her cheek, tried to retaliate, but Serena intervened. “Enough! Lannister is gone, and you’re still bickering here!” “Someone open the furnace now!” Serena wailed, her voice filled with despair. The staff turned off the flames, but by then, the fire had already consumed Lannister. “Mom, Lannister is dead! She burned him alive!” Quinn cried as she clung to Serena, glaring at me with murderous hatred.

I still didn't get why they liked him. He was handsome, but well… I couldn’t quite get it. Maybe because he was my brother. Summer break was getting close in California, and there was something about the way the sun made everything smell that I loved. I had decided to spend June at my elder brother’s apartment before I resumed college. My brother, Davis, had moved out when he was nineteen and had been living alone ever since he started college. He was pissed off when I told him I was coming over, but what could he do to me?

ADA Peace and quiet. That was all I felt at the moment. Once again, I had one of those dreams where I knew I was unconscious, yet the realism of it all arrested me. I found myself in what appeared to be a magical garden, bathed in sunshine, filled with colourful blooms all around me. Amongst the other flowers, the sunflowers stood out from the rest, all standing proud yet peaceful. Their yellow petals were broad and cheerful, and I chose to see them as the perfect embodiment of summer itself. Even though I knew I was asleep, I wouldn't have minded staying there for a while.

It took so much out of her, and she was confused why she was now feeling like this. Once she had finish showering and drying off, she heads to bed. She slipped on a t-shirt and undies and climbed under the covers. She was thankful it was Saturday and no school tomorrow. She felt like she could sleep for weeks after her outcome and the intense after affects she had in the shower. As she drifted off to sleep, she saw him again. Dominic was in her dreams all night, they were erotic, they were sensual, and they were like nothing she had in the past. She slept hard and didn’t wake up from the dreams.
