Summoning Books Novels & Stories

"We haven't the time for me to explain all, but I will tell you this: the rite is a spell of Summoning." "A Summoning..." Allorah breathed. Though she had heard of such a spell, once again it had only been as a children's tale. According to legend, a Summoning opened the magical Gates between worlds, and, as the name suggested, summoned a creature to their own world. In the past, it had been performed in times of need, but as peace settled firmly over the island, the knowledge of how to invoke it had been lost. Suddenly, Allorah understood. Dannonae watched realization dawn. "Yes, my child. It is our only chance."

Rowan said, sitting back on her heels, crouched in front of our little circle on the porch, “the book says that marks, or signs, like the one we’ve been seeing are Marks of the Underworld. Sort of like a supernatural clue for anyone smart – or lucky – enough to recognise it.” “But demons have to be summoned, don’t they?” I asked, frowning down at the book. It was splayed out in the middle of us, the pages held down with two large, unpolished crystals that Grandma Rosie had donated to the cause. “Surely whoever had summoned it would clean up after themselves?”

When he left, I was ready to hear the important stuff that Sawyer had to tell us. Sawyer pulls out four boxes each box had a symbol on it she passed each of us box and then she gave us each a key on necklace, then she pulled out a folder that had a bunch of papers in them and she started with the first paper. She pulls it out and she starts to read it. She tells us that this a prophecy that the was written by the first witches of the Ravenclaw Coven. When she said that name it rang a bell that was the coven that all our mother belongs to when they were growing up.

I fired back. "Okay, I understand!" Sturbridge paused and the pounding on the door became more severe. "The spirits of dizziness. You are the goddess's daughter, you can summon any of the spirits." "How do I summon them?" I asked eagerly. "Just repeat this loudly. Hayjozzy, the spirit of dizziness, I summon you and your subjects to attack my enemies!" he relayed while I kept watching his mouth. "I summon you, Hayjozzy and your subjects, attack my enemies!" I called out loudly but nothing happened.

The only thing that hinted at this being Lucien were those dark eyes, mirth still glimmering in them like candle flames. “Distract him now!” Lucien called over as a ball of light filled his hands and a book appeared that looked older than some of the ones Kade had seen in Dagmar’s cottage. “I need to start the summoning.” “What the fuck have you been doing for the last ten minutes?” Kade shouted back. “Preparing.”

"But how do we perform this spell? And where can we find it?" Isolde produced a worn, ancient tome from the folds of her robes. The book's pages were yellowed with age, and its cover bore strange symbols that seemed to writhe and shift. "I've had this for years, Baros, waiting for the right moment. The spell is within these pages, but it's intricate and dangerous. That's why I need your expertise. Together, we can unlock its secrets." Baros studied the book, his fingers tracing the ominous symbols. "And once we have performed this spell, what then? What is your vision for our future, Isolde?"

His red eyes deepened, indicating his desire to sort things out. "One of the book of history has gone missing last night. The Book of Creation. And then this morning, it is found on its shelf again. Not a piece was taken nor changed," Merko said. I had been to their library a couple of times and had seen that book. However, due to my very busy schedule, I could not read it since I have to prioritize knowing more about potions. "It is not allowed to take the books out of the bibliotheca. How come that it has gone missing? Who was patroling last night?" Yamiko asked.

I ask incredulously. “A grimoire or a spellbook is a textbook of magic, with instructions on how to create magical objects like talismans and amulets, how to perform magical spells, charms, and divination, and how to summon or invoke supernatural entities such as angels, spirits, deities, and demons” he explained to me carefully. “Spells huh” I said looking at the book “do you think she cast a spell on us yesterday?” “That would explain the fainting spells but why didn't they work on me?” He said looking to the side thinking.

I reached out and delicately traced the pattern, a jolt of familiarity coursing through me. Malachi's gaze followed my movement, curiosity evident in his eyes. "What have you found, Emma?" I opened the book, its pages crackling with the weight of forgotten wisdom. Words written in an ancient script adorned the parchment, and as I began to read, a revelation washed over me. "This... This is the Book of the Ancients," I whispered, my voice filled with a mix of awe and realization. "It holds the key to unlocking the true nature of the primordial force and the source of our own powers."

Having examined my surroundings, I cannot find any items that I could modify this suit with but I could extract metal from the ores I found in the dungeon. Also, finding some crystals would be amazing. Come out my summons! Search for iron ores, crystals, and anything shiny! During their absence, let's check out my skills. It occurred to me that I haven't evolved my summons either. It will be done after they return. There's just one thing left for me to check. A book. [Book of Magical Enchantment] I believe I was given this book along with the necrosmith class because it appeared out of nowhere when I analyzed the craft skill.
