The moon was big and round. It shone so bright that the stars could not be seen in the night sky. The night breeze caressed her skin. Sydnee closed her eyes and smiled. The translucent moonlight shone on her blue dress and the tiny crystals shone when the moonlight touched them. In the middle of the night, Sydnee was like a fairy who descended into the world.

I smiled at them and tipped them an imaginary hat and they cheered for me. I cruised to a halt and jumped down from the car before grabbing my backpack and retrieving the Moon Phoenix. It glowed through the foil and I turned to look at the sunset, taking how beautiful it was against the skies. It was the reason for this glow. I unwrapped the Moon Phoenix and lifted it into the skies, towards the direction of the sunset and it let out a glow this time, it took the color of the sunset. Fiery orange, yellow, an almost red tinge, pink and purple. It let out its light, casting an ethereal glow around me.

With her hands and fingers crossed her head above them watching my every move like a cat watching its prey, I went back and grabbed our glass of juice then sat down. "Tell me something I asked, I didn't get your name, can I find out now?" She smiled again and replied, “My name is Moonlight, Moonlight Jade Monterey…” Hmm mmm, such a good name, your parents named you well, the name fits you as well you are a beautiful girl. Moonlight asked, what her name meant. "Isn't Moonlight weird or unique?" "What do you mean?" No answer. I could not see anything except a bright, red light in my vision, and my grip on the amulet went tighter, causing my fingers to draw blood from my palm. The moonlight was our symbol, and tonight, we would use its light to guide us to victory. "Are you guys ready for battle?" I asked, my voice carrying across the gathering. The moonlight army responded with a resounding cheer, their unity and enthusiasm fueling my own determination. "Are you ready to bring justice to the moonlight pack and save your Alpha?" I asked again, emphasizing our mission.
