I walked along the rows of shelves, my fingers trailing lightly over the spines of the books as I searched for something new to read. After a few minutes of browsing, a book caught my eye…”The Encyclopedia of Supernatural Beings”. It was an old, thick tome with a worn cover, but it looked intriguing. I pulled the book from the Ilf and settled into one of the comfortable armchairs by the window. I flipped through the pages, my curiosity piqued as I read about all sorts of supernatural creatures…some I had heard of, and others I thought were nothing more than myths. I had only discovered about creatures like werewolves, gods, Succubus, monsters, and shadows a few years ago. What else did I not know? How many more creatures exist in this vast world, as well as in other realms? We stopped abruptly when the roar of the beast erupted through the surroundings, sending shivers down our spines.

There are still other creatures out there, lurking in the darkness, waiting for the right time to rule over," "You mean there are other unnatural creatures such as, ugh, vampires and werewolves?" I can't believe what I'm saying, but this guy in front of me makes me think of all the possibilities.

They were fucking WEREWOLVES! How did I really not see it though? … If werewolves were real, then, what else was? Vampires, Witches? Hell, why not Leprechauns, giants and unicorns too! Was there this whole other world of supernatural creatures that we didn’t know about, living amongst us? No, this was insane. This wasn’t real. This isn’t Twilight or True Blood or Vampire Diaries or fucking Buffy the Vampire Slayer, this was the real world and these things can’t be real!

With multiple variations of the language, this version was solely spoken by the first Gods to ever roam the Earth looking for imperfections. When imperfections were found amongst the humans that were created first, it was foretold that they would cause a shift in time that would unfold events and chaos that would destroy earth itself. It is then the Gods created super-phenomenon’s that would later be known as the supernatural. These creatures were made to live alongside the humans to keep them safe and fight their battles where it is foretold that they would not be able to be strong enough to stand on their own.
