Survivor Palau Novels & Stories

Alex screamed from a stretcher, his face covered in dust and blood. Then he spotted Maddie and me standing there, both safe and on our feet. He went still. A second later, he broke down. "Kayla... I'm sorry. I should've listened to you. That corner wasn't safe. The ceiling came down on us. Rainee lied. She got us all hurt!" I looked at him coldly. They'd made their choice. They'd gambled with their own lives. "Over here! More survivors!" A rescuer's shout rang out from deep in the rubble.

Gabe’s phone buzzed in his palm—unknown number, two words that turned his stomach cold. Call me. — Pal He answered. “Yeah?” Pal’s voice was too calm. “We found something off the headland. You need to see it.” “What is it?” A beat. Then: “What’s left of a trawler. We think it’s the Siren.” Gabe’s free hand found the pew and gripped until his knuckles ached. “Any survivors?” “Not yet,” Pal said. “But there’s… writing. Same as the beach. On the inside of the hull.”

Miku said to her brother. Shuji turned his head and remembered Lixue's family island in Palawan. 'Palawan is big, I don't know where their island is, I want to go there.' Shuji said in his mind. Shuji gave money and a tip because the man cleaned the car's windshield. "Papa ni sodan shite, moshi doi shite kurerunara, shigoto o yasumeru yo ni Parawan-jima no erunido ni tsurete ikimashou." Miku said to her brother as she stopped at the side.

, Croads, a middle-aged woman with brown hair and glasses, said. Except, it's not. She's dealing with enough right now. "Are you close with the victim?", SSA Briggs questioned, looking at me curiously. Briggs is practically a teenager, with shaggy blonde hair, very thin. "She's not a victim. Don't call her that. Her name is Amelia, and she's a survivor", I couldn't stop the words from flowing from my mouth. "The only one", Briggs uttered. "So you are close to her? Have you considered that being the reason for not catching him yet?", Croads said coldly. "Croads", Loveless snapped, shaking his head at her.

Eurye hasn’t been pulled into the sea. “We have a few hours until it begins again,” I warn one of the Alphas of a nearby territory, the two of us stomping side-by-side through debris. Wolves race through the rain, howling and barking, looking for survivors. A few people have been pulled from toppled homes, but so far, dozens of the men are unaccounted for. It could have been far worse had all the women and children not been evacuated early this morning. “Everyone in Shell Pass, the Haven Islands, and the Palm Lagoon is accounted for,” the Alpha beside me says. “My pack hasn’t suffered any casualties that I know of, but my Beta is running numbers as we speak.”

How could there be any survivor? The others were silent upon hearing her remarks. But Beta Miguel was quick to catch on as he replied, ‘‘No, there are actually two who survived at that time. One of whom was already been killed a few years ago during our war against Ezekiel. And the other one is...’’ Beta Miguel took a moment of pause. But when he realized something really grave, his eyes widened in sheer shock and terror. And then he shouted, ‘‘Damn it!!! Everyone be careful. Alert everyone with a red alert. It's that bastard Ezekiel who's attacking us!!!’’
