I swear on my life, for a solid five seconds, my brain just completely stopped working. Like, the Wi-Fi in my head disconnected. I was just staring at him. Staring at the absolute unit of a mafia billionaire who had just thrown his body over mine, currently passed out cold on the floor of this bulletproof SUV. The blood. Guys, there was so much blood. I smiled wider. "Now..." I dug deeper. "...watch them leave." With one violent pull, I ripped the bullet free. It struck the stone with a sharp metallic clang.

I quickly buried my hand into the mud he showed me earlier and applied it generously to my body. "Ahhh," the screams made me look up, only to see one of Alpha's screaming in the air as Axios flung him. His scream stopped the moment his body hit a tree and he fell to the ground with his head bashed in. They didn't stop charging towards him, and Axios didn't relent in killing them. "Silver bullets." I heard Alpha scream at his men; they quickly changed their bullets to silver ones and began shooting at him, but Axios continued killing them one after another. Till it was remaining only the Alpha and two of his men.

I handed the gun back to Anton and pulled the blood-spotted sweatshirt over my head, tossing it onto Luke’s cooling corpse.

"Fuck! Argh!" Nathan's hands flailed wildly, grabbing at the empty air as he arched his back in agony. Ethan's face remained focused, his eyes locked onto the wound as he worked to extract the bullet. "Almost there, I've gotten the bullet," Ethan muttered, his voice steady despite the gruesome task. As he pulled the bullet out, smoke sizzled from the wound, the silver burning the surrounding flesh and releasing a bad odour. Nathan's scream echoed through the room, a raw, anguished sound that seemed to come from the very depths of his being. "Oh! Argh!"
