Sword Snow Stride Novel Translation Novels & Stories

* Zeina * The wind howled low across the Western Fortress, slipping through stone walls and catching in the high towers like a breath withheld. Snow swirled through the courtyard, fine as powdered silver, settling across the training grounds I refused to abandon. Each flake melted the moment it touched my skin, steaming against the fire that simmered just beneath the surface. I stood barefoot in the snow, the cold biting at my toes, grounding me in the moment. Around me, my warriors moved like shadows, barking commands, panting with effort.

"Don't you dare close your eyes, Aradaa! Stay with me!" Kaelor’s voice ripped through the howling wind, a jagged snarl that barely carried over the shriek of the digital storm. He lunged through snow that reached his waist, his boots sinking into the frozen slush. His arms were iron bands around Aradaa’s limp frame. Ice matted Kaelor’s fur, turning his heavy shoulders into jagged white peaks.

They thought we were reacting. They thought we were still piecing together the past. They didn’t know we were already adapting. Snow had taken me once because he couldn’t let go. He would not take anything from us again. And if someone else believed they could move him like a pawn Then they would learn something about Frostbite. We do not break easily. We do not surrender quietly. And we do not forget. The wind howled softly across the frozen landscape. Somewhere beyond it A shadow watched. Patient. Calculating. Waiting for the next move. But so were we.

She grabbed my hand and pulled me outside. The snow fell in large, soft flakes in a silence that felt vast and grand. We walked side by side beneath the streetlights, the thick snow crunching underfoot. "Are you cold?" Amelia asked me. "No." I shook my head. Inside, my heart was warm. Suddenly, Amelia stopped and turned to face me. "Charlie," she said seriously, "there's something I've been wanting to tell you." I looked at her. Snowflakes fell on her hair, eyelashes, and shoulders. Her eyes sparkled, like they were filled with starlight.

Flowers decorated the passageway, each pot with a considerable amount of space between. The building's interior was chic and exotic just the way she liked it. The howling, coming from inside it, was unquestioningly mechanical, like a demented factory bell. From time to time, plumes of steam shot from the cloud high into the sky where they dissipated into a murky fog. Condensation sprinkled their faces like a rain out of season. They did not talk; even if the howling were not so loud, there was nothing to say. Without their horse, they were stranded in the middle of the snow plain. Ahead was the only way to g

"Yes Aurora yes! Give it to me already!" His voice boomed. "Then take it!" And I let all the energy flow out of my hand straight at his chest. He welcomed it with his arms stretched out and started absorbing it, not knowing what I was actually doing. His figure started to glow with the white light as his feet lifted off the ground slowly. He laughed in victory, enjoying it.

The snow seemed to be my natural battlefield, where my speed and the advantages of my fur were able to be fully reflected, which gradually made my confidence sufficient.
