Someone burst onto the scene, a sudden presence that I couldn't quite make out. My blurred vision, clouded by tears and stress, prevented me from seeing my helper clearly. For a brief moment, as my eyes struggled to adjust and my heart raced in anticipation, I suddenly welcomed the comfort of darkness.

The lights blurred. Then… Darkness.

She was clearly not good with what was alive and needed affection and care to stay alive, but the memories were blurred like an illuminated painting. "Why do memories become so blurry?" She opened her eyes and laid her gaze on the boy, who shrugged and stared at the immensity green full of colorful flowers that stood before them. My throat ran dry as I looked at him in disbelief. Liam and Jack grabbed onto my arms dragging me back towards the door. "DAD! PLEASE NO!" I screamed as tears ran down my cheeks blurring my vision. Jack wrapped his hand around my mouth muffling my call out to my dad. It was like everything was happening in slow motion. The tears running down my face staining my cheeks, and blurring my vision. Being dragged out the room, the image of my dad fading away. It was all happening so slow, but the fear and anxiety piling on top of my chest was occurring at a rapid pace, making it harder, and harder to breathe.

His vision blurred. The shouting around him faded. I’m sorry. Then nothing.

My throat still burned. A strange sensation started in my vision. The edges of the room began to blur, swirling into indistinct shapes and colors. The voices around me, which had been so clear moments ago, became distant, muffled echoes. It was like I was underwater, or watching the world through a thick pane of distorted glass.

She explained plainly. “So in one one word, I should be extra careful around the maid?” I asked her for a better validation. She nodded her head quietly and talked again. “I've noticed an enraging pattern in my visions. Whenever I try to discern if someone is a sleuth or spy, my usually clear sight becomes cloudy and blurry. It's as if an unseen force is intentionally veiling the truth from me. The images and impressions that normally flow so freely are instead fragmented and unclear, leaving me in a State of ambiguity. This blurring of my vision is not just maddening, but also potentially deadly.” She explained tensely.
