My heart jumped a beat. "So..." He looked up, his eyes meeting mine. "We weren't the only ones here." It remained quiet. Carl's eyes remained fixed on the footprints. He crouched again, brushing his fingers lightly over the damp soil. "What is it?" I asked. He didn't answer immediately. Instead, he stood and looked toward the road. "They weren't trying to break inside," he said. I frowned. "Then why were they here?" "They were watching." "Watching who?"

Arabel's POV Barely parking, I jump out of the car, racing into the teacher's office. Kicking the door open, I rush in, only to stop dead in my tracks when I see Daisy, sitting quietly beside Mrs. Mathew. There is a strange guy standing at attention by the door. Mrs. Mathew is seated, and the proprietor is also seated. Two other male teachers, whom I recognize, are standing next to the strange man. It jerks me back to reality as I rush towards Daisy.

The combination of the ache in my tunnel and the pace at which Troy swings inside of me makes me feel as though I would burst. "Gail, y-you're chokeholding me. I know you're close, so f-fucking hurry up and meet me." I bit my lower lip and hugged Troy tightly. I even buried my fingernail in his back because of the tickle that was slowly building up in my core. The burning anguish that I had previously wanted to stop has now left me entirely open to meet his bulge, yet earlier I was in a complete state of disarray. "O-Oh God, Troy! You're tickling me!" I yelled out of unamed feelings.

Tiffany told rain, "Maggie is living with her boyfriend, Chantelle is about to get engaged and already is a mom." "So, you're Maggie's mom?" "Yeah, that little terror is mine." She chuckled. "David wasn't thrilled when she told him that she was moving in with Eric. But they all gotta leave the nest at some point." "I agree, Chantelle was the one who took me out of mine." I chuckled as they did too. "I want something special for her." "Well, seeing as Chantelle is a very special girl when it comes to jewelry, I have the most gorgeous turquoise rock. Which is her favorite color." Tiffany told me.

And maybe it did. I felt my breath catch as my gaze followed him, tracing the path I already knew by heart. Of course, he made his way to the back of the room, dropping into a chair with practiced ease. His friend greeted him with a casual fist bump, and Xander met it without even looking up, his smirk sharp enough to cut. The girls who were no doubt talking about me earlier looked his way, greeting him.

Ash had never seen her before but he could tell that she was a Landers due to the luxury she had on her. Merely looking at her, Ash could say this was not one like the calm Landers that he met, Daisy, who had him interrogated. This one was saucy, with an attitude. She looked to be the female duplicate of Ivan Landers. Ash wanted to ask who she was then he spotted her customized car plate, she was Katty Landers.

I send back to her “now behave or I’ll cancel our shift tomorrow night” It’s a bluff we both know I love the runs as much as her and shifting always gives me a strong sense of freedom but I try my hand at bullshitting her anyway. Luca pulls me from my thoughts as an alert has been sent through the packs mind link. “Introducers have been detected on the western boarder” he huffs while running to the door.I follow closely behind him knowing it’s time to start working. Once out the front of the pack house he climbs in his jeep. “Aren’t you going to shift ?” I ask confused that he’d rather be in human form. “There’s already 8 of our pack on the boarder in wolf form. Sometimes we need someone aro

gripped my clutch so tight my fingers ached. Cameras flashed nonstop, catching Sebastian’s face in perfect focus. His smile was effortless, his stride confident. Everyone’s eyes were on him. And me? Invisible. “Mr. Banks, over here,” someone called. He didn’t bother turning. I fell into step behind him, heels clicking softly against marble. “Sebastian,” I said, hoping for even the smallest acknowledgment. “The Huang Group asked if you’d meet them tomorrow.”

Okay so Chasing Tara is ending soon and I haven't seen anyone saying that they want a sequel. I have to go now. Please read, vote, comment and share. Until the next chapter... -Daisy

Sebastian POV Looking at the direction of Kali, I was surprised when I see a familiar weird thing that was placed on where he was standing. Why is that thing placed in this area? Didn’t that became taken down by the sentinels and warriors long time ago? That was a mechanism that hunt trespasser. But… what are those things placed in this area?! My eyes felt horrid as I remember that thing that would fall upon those people who activated that mechanism. I net that can be torn by any sharp object. Only the nails of the alpha can open cut this thing.
