The music was so loud that I could feel my eardrum bursting. I felt a sharp pain in my head reminding me that I wasn't fully healed yet. I have no choice though, money comes first. I kept my head down, worked fast and avoided creeps. By the time my shift ended, my feet ached and my head pounded. It was already two in the morning, few cars drove on the road and even fewer people walked. The further I walked, the more empty the road became. At first I could still see two to three people walking, but then they reduced to two, one and soon the streets were empty.

I tell him because we don’t want to have problems later. Two mafia families running a single city and the same businesses isn’t uncommon, but those two families living close to each other can become a problem if rivalry becomes an issue or an enemy comes for one and not the other. So as a common courtesy to them I think we need to come up with something that keeps both parties allied but completely separate from each other.

“He’s in the lower city. I can feel it.” “You’re going alone?” “I don’t need a fucking babysitter.” I heard him curse, but I didn’t stop. The lower city was a nightmare. Flames licked up the sides of wooden buildings. People ran through the streets clutching children and whatever they could carry. A few cultists who had been left behind tried to stop me. I cut them down without slowing. One of them grabbed my boot as he died. “Mercy… please…” I drove my blade through his throat. “You gave up mercy the second you followed that piece of shit.”

LYRA: Looking through the window, I notice the tip of a huge mountain, peeking out from the clouds. “Wow,” I whisper to myself as the cloud reveals a wide city. “Home sweet home,” Aldric says from the cockpit. The plane dipped lower, the engines softening as the land beneath us came into view. The territory stretched farther than I expected, rows of stone buildings, open courtyards, and long walkways connecting them like a small city. In the center stood a tall tower, clean and modern but built with an old, proud design.

I look again one last time at the house before I leave because I’m not sure if when I come back to this city. Note: Thank you for giving time to this not so perfect story especially in technical form. I'm giving some time editing chapter by chapter, if I have free time. I know, so I need to say sorry for inconviennce but if I got free time for my writing, I will do my best to edit this for a better experience to read but if you want a perfect story you can jump to other story while I'm edting this one. I nodded. “And there are three other cities?” she asked, her eyes still watching out the window, taking in the sights. It was a quaint town built into the forest to offer our pack safety. We were mostly self-contained with our own schools, hospital, and all the things you’d expect of a town.

It took one and half day before they arrived at the most populated city of the country—N City. N City is known for its countless trip destinations, commercial districts, residential, logistics area, and many more. People used to call this place jack of all trades, because this is a city that seems to be so complete. Everything can be seen here, and people used to love this place so much. But that was before. When the outbreak happened, this place became one of the largest cesspool of undead, just like T City.

I lay my head on Xavier chest , while he slowly ran his fingers through my hair – this moment felt so peaceful and so right , yet the events that had to occur to get to this perfect moment left a guilty feeling in my chest. “Where do we go from here?” I break the silence. Every one stays silent , only the crackle of the fire is audioable. “I think we should keep travelling North ; Alexander conquers most of the South so I am pretty sure we can find some refuge up North” Andrew says , making us all agree that is a good idea. “Britney , did you not say you have some relatives up North?” I ask her recalling the conversation we had a few times before. She nods and smiles.

The City of Bones. I'd heard the name only once before, years ago, back when I still believed the world ended at the edge of the palace gardens. A traveler had passed through in winter, drunk on cheap wine and colder nights, and he'd sat by the kitchen fire telling stories to anyone who'd listen. Most of what he said had been forgotten by morning — travelers always exaggerated, everyone knew that. But one story had stayed with me. A city swallowed by the earth, he'd said, voice low, eyes darting toward the shadows like even speaking the name might summon something. A city cursed by gods who no longer had names anyone remembered. A city nobody who entered ever returned from.

Gael, Hakeem, and I had passed out after four hours of non-stop mating. I was sandwiched between my two men, my head resting on Hakeem’s chest and Gael’s leg and arm thrown over both of us as he snuggled into my back. I felt as if I had just fallen asleep when flashes and fragments of dreams began to play through my mind. They were disjointed, speeding through my mind almost too fast to catch. There is Charlie holding two pups in her arms, the pack being attacked on the western front, Arya fallen to her knees sobbing in the middle of a battlefield, funeral pyres, me looking down at my pregnant stomach with Gael and Hakeem smiling down at me, whoops of victory and wails of defeat. As the
