No-one hearing us when I feel a tug on my shoulder and I’m pulled back as Asteria steps forward holding the silver-purple trident in her hand. She doesn’t speak, she just looks at me and nods once as she walks into the room. She is naked, her long black hair swirling around her naked form as she walks into the storm within the room. The storm Gaia has created, it seems. Growls come from the room when I see the spirit wolves and Kodiak tries to attack them just as Asteria grabs her and holds her firmly as she walks past Gaia and towards the bed. I watch in fascination, but at the same time I’m in shock and terrified of what will happen.

Ana raised her brows in surprise, “However, as a hybrid, we are not supposed to be created. You and I are not meant to be in this world. The same goes to your brother, and my brother inside of him. She looks at Gaia and uses her fingers to tell her to go to her, and she does. “Gaia, I want you to get angry with me.” My eyes widen at her words. What the fuck is she doing? “Think of what happened yesterday, how you felt. Use it against me. We need to see what we are up against.” Asteria growls at her when Gaia shakes her head, taking a step backwards. When Asteria raises her hand in front of Gaia and I watch as I shift uncomfortably ready to jump in to protect my pup. Queen Asteria’s hand glows before a dark swirl comes from her wrist snaking towards her open palm.

"They had stolen some things, and we believe they were planning to attack us."
