Whoever it is, Aster hopes they're enjoying the goddamn show. When class was getting boring Aster tends to listen in on conversations with her superhearing. Admittedly, it isn't a very good habit of hers, but she's pretty confident in her ability to keep secrets. Whatever she picks up, she swore to take to her grave. "Nice one, Khai! She was strangely excited to hear what had happened in the last seven years, everything she’d missed, and what would come next. “Can I touch you?” she asked. She still didn’t trust that she wasn’t in a dream.

Alpha Alex fumes, Hera roles her eyes at him totally ignoring his raging posture. "If you can free yourself as you say than why haven't you escaped yet?" I ask curiously, something inside me said that she wasn't lying. "Pfft.. Luna Celeste my security is one of the best among all packs, I don't think you believe her words do you? She can't even breathe if I don't permit it" Alpha Alex puffs out his chest, assured of his security. Hera glares at Alpha Alex, her lips than pull up to an evil smirk. She looks around the room and than stops her gaze at me.

“Oh my wow. Tell me the name of this person and I’ll check them up.” I say, already pulling out my magic to bring out a phone out of thin air. When she stares at me oddly, I assure her, “Don’t worry. It’s Sebastian’s.” “I made this universe and I am sorry to say that you can’t search for your books because they don’t exist here but you can search for my other books.” Before I can say a word, Asteria snatches the phone away from me and stands on her feet. “I am sure Cyprus is looking for me right now, so I’ll see you guys later. He took it without comment, but I felt his gaze burning into me. When he finally spoke again, his words seemed meant only for me. “Girl. What is your name?” “Scheur, Your Majesty,” I whispered, curtsying with my head bowed. “Hmm.” He took a slow sip. “You may leave.” I fled the room as if the hounds of hell were at my heels, heart hammering, thighs embarrassingly slick.

Everyone was startled except the Alpha, he stood his ground and looked unbothered. “ Come forward Tala”. She stretched her hands to receive mine. I didn’t even tell her my name. How did she know? “ Like you I can read minds too, don’t be worried my dear , you’re in safe hands”. She smiled and took me forward towards the Alpha. “ People of High Crest , today we have been blessed, the moon goddess has finally sent us help…….” . She continued addressing the people but the Alpha eyes were fixed on me. “ Why are you staring at me?”. My wolf said, addressing him.

His eyes meet mine like a mirror with no place to hide. “Isabella Sterling,” he repeats, voice smooth, deliberate. Not quite a question. He’s testing the name. Rolling it over his tongue like it’s a weapon he doesn’t trust. “It’s a pleasure,” I say, calm and even, my smile mechanical. Before I can say anything else, someone calls Aurora’s name from across the ballroom. “Aurora! There you are. I need you to meet someone, he’s on the board in Geneva.” She groans playfully, “Ugh, I leave for two minutes and already people are fighting for me. Stay here, I’ll be right back.”
