Tales Of Reincarnation In Maydare Novels & Stories

The beautiful blue sky turned into a grid of lines. Aris said, "He is starting the 'Cleanup.' He is deleting anyone who does not follow his rules. We have to get to the Core." Maya looked at her hands. She felt her pulse. She remembered her exams. She realized something. "I am a Bio-Print " Maya whispered. "I was made in a lab. My body in the real world was physical. My link to this place is different from the others."

"Morien says I shouldn’t… I should stay pure until after the mating ceremony." "Well," Miles says, "being impure doesn't only mean fucking. There’s a hundred and one interesting things you can do without fucking." Maddox sits beside me. "Did you read the scroll? I’m really sorry, you know." I ignore him, acting like he’s not there. I’m still mad—he killed me in my previous life. "Maya, you know you’ve got to talk with Maddox." Miles says thoughtfully. "You two have to let it all out."

Maya knelt and touched a fallen shard of quartz, her violet eyes instantly flooding with a golden light as she shared the vision with the rest of us through the pack link. "She didn't leave because of a war, Mommy," Maya’s voice echoed in my head, sounding clear and melodic despite the light years between us. "She left because the resonance here was becoming too crowded. She was the pioneer who sought the mud of the Fringe to see if life could survive without the constant singing of the stars."

After the reincarnation, I always felt like I had lost some parts of my memory. However, Kelly's insulting words indirectly brought back my memories. In my past life, after my daughter and I were locked up in the house, I had begged Justin desperately. I reminded him we were his wife and child and asked him how he could bear to treat us in such a way. However, Justin retorted, "My wife and child? It's still yet to be determined if she's my daughter."

They were the same ones from my past life. They were the ones who kidnapped and drowned me in the lake. Seeing I was awake, Leah stepped forward with a sneer. She twirled a wolfsbane-coated silver dagger in her hand. "Lana, I bet you didn't expect this, did you? I was reborn with memories of the past life too." She clenched her jaw. "I couldn't figure it out at first. I made my moves early this time and even planned everything ahead. Why didn't Simon give up on you? Later, when I was starving in the wilderness, I finally understood that you were also reborn.

“I thought—she must have a way out, she’s the owner of the necklace—” “There is no way out!” he bellows, his voice shattering like thunder. His claws dig deep gouges into the wood of his chair. “Veydris devours everything. The only escape is death. Yes, she will reincarnate—but as a child, stripped of all memory. Maya, your mother must die before she can be reborn.” That’s why she smiled so fiercely. Why she spoke with such certainty. Why she swore my baby would be a girl.

“Impossible. I'm sure that's all the life I've experienced. I've lived my life nine times over!” “Look at this, Lady.” Madam Maya unbuttoned the collar of her shirt. She showed me something that looked like an incision near her collarbone. “I… also thought the same as you when I first experienced it. That's why I deliberately caused this wound after waking up from the two lives I thought I had gone through. This is proof that we are not going back to the past, Lady.”

This was the cruelest of all jokes. And once again, I didn’t find it funny. Meidran's eyes widened as he kept explaining to me all the ways we would have been the couple if his father hadn’t intervened and if I hadn’t gone ahead and entered the contest. I could already imagine how he would feel if he heard that Zain and I were the reincarnated souls of Artemis and Helene. He already appeared like a crazed rabbit with his ruffled white hair that went every which way, and the way he used his hands to explain every word he said.

He hands my mother the card, stealing a chaste kiss as she takes it from his hands. Their love is something I have dreamt of having for myself one day. I have never seen them so much as question one another. They always told me they were True Mates. Something people rarely get to see. True Mates are reincarnated over the centuries so that their spirits may always find another, even after these bodies have long gone.

I touched my face, and my eyes landed on the calendar. 2016? “Mum... are we not in 2026?” “2026? Are you crazy?” “You have an interview this morning, remember? I've made breakfast. Get dressed and come downstairs quickly, okay?” “Hmmm.” I flashed her a smile as I slumped onto the bed. I thought I died... What happened? My mind flashed back to that moon. Could it be the light? I remembered making a wish. Could it be that the heavens heard me? So I'm not dead. Is this a second chance... To rewrite my mistakes?
