He chuckled and I stared at Jaxon who was smiling sadly. "Lol. How's your girlfriend? I hope you've stopped your promiscuous ways?" Jaxon asked, trying to change the topic. "Jaxon , I'm also married. It's an arranged marriage but it seems like we'll divorce each other anytime soon. She's a dog and..." He trailed off as Richard walked to our table with a beautiful young girl beside him. "Richie, you're still single. I think it's high time you stop taking your younger sister to parties as your date" the guy said with a mocking smirk.

I replied with a smirk, patting his thigh. “Oh, I’m a little more than a handful, aren’t I, angel? More like two hands… two and a half, maybe.” Talon replied, his eyes twinkling with mischief. “Ugh, gross,” Jake said, standing and finishing the last of his whiskey. “Think that’s our cue to go to bed, Trina.”

Suddenly a young guy approached me "Hello Star." I touched her "She's a really nice horse." He said "She seems very calm." I said and he chuckled "She is and she loves sugar." He said "I'm sorry, I'm Lauren. So this place is yours?" I asked "I'm JJake and yes this is mine." He answered "Nice place and tomorrow me and my highschool friends will come here." I told him "Yeah I know." He said "So how old is Star?" I asked "She's 7 years old."

He doesn’t have a hard time studying since we were younger while I work my ass off to get straight A’s. We studied until ten and we’re now having hot chocolate with marshmallows while watching the starry skies. Jake has always loved stargazing, and he knows almost every name of the star there is. He is passionate about the things that he loved just like me. He focuses his one hundred percent on everything, and his tawny eyes are so sexy every time he speaks of the things that he loves. “Bee?” “Hmm.” “I love you,” he whispered into my ears while I shiver.

Still, her words echoed in my mind, lingering like an unwelcome shadow. I sat down in Xander’s chair, letting out a slow breath as I tried to calm the storm of emotions swirling within me. *** Xander’s pov I as Xander finished my meeting and rushed out to see Jake standing by the wall with a sad look on his face. “What’s up?” I asked as he shrugged. “You might need to wear a helmet.” “What happened, Jake?” I asked, already bracing for an answer I wasn’t sure I wanted.

I was still in deep thoughts when I heard a male voice. "Hello , I am Jake" he said stretching forth his hand for a handshake. I realised he is the stranger I was admiring earlier. I noticed he was even more handsome than what I saw earlier, he was about 6 feet tall, well built and his six packs stuck out from his shirt. I also discovered he had the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen, short spiky hair which made him look more handsome and his voice sounded like that of an Angel. Well, I haven't seen any Angel in reality but I have seen them in movies.

He was not grumpy about Riley’s comment. “Stop talking as if you don’t forget you’re the Alpha whenever Nadia kisses you. She bats her eyelashes, and you immediately pant like a dog.” Jake mocked him, and I rolled my eyes. I wanted to tell him as if he were not the same as Riley, but Riley did the honor of telling him that, until they realized Xander and I were just quiet and just staring at each other. “Ahem..” Jake cleared his throat again. “I understand you don’t want us here, but you need us. Trust me.”

" Cass screamed pointing at Jake "He is the crazy person I told you about, He cheated me out of the taxi making me late" Cass said annoyed "I am sorry, I was in a hurry to meet the group and you all know Amanda hates tardiness" Jake apologized with a boyish grin "Okay, you guys should kiss and make up, Let's get the party started!!!" Amanda said "I am sorry, Should we kiss like Amanda said" Jake said teasing "You are forgiven," Cass said laughing playfully Jake was tall with a great physique that showed despite his baggy outfits. He had a face that looked like he could feature in a Playboy Magazine and it looked like he knew it because he smiled recklessly.

Jake seemed annoyed by this but didn’t argue. “You’re lying to me?” I asked. “About what? My tuition? Owning the Rolo group that took over my job?” “No. All of that is true,” Jake said to me before turning back to Ethan and hissing through his teeth, “get out of here. Don’t talk to her again.” Ethan opened his mouth but I spoke instead, “are you Jacob Aster?” Both Ethan and Jake looked at me confused. “You knew?” Ethan asked. “Are you?” I asked Jake.
