If he hurts my sniper arm, I’m going to bloody murder him. “Oh wait.” He motions at one of the guards. “Pass me a knife, would ya? I want to cut his skin at the same time.”

Doesn’t bleed. Another bounds toward him. He shifts back just enough to draw the blade from his waist, plunges it deep through the creature’s side. It folds, body caving inward like deflated skin. Still, no blood. Bernardo curses somewhere behind him. “What the fuck are they?!” Another warrior screams. The sound ends too fast. Theon grabs the nearest enemy by the throat, lifts it off the ground. Its legs kick once, then still. Its eyes blink—once. Then again. But not in fear. Not in pain.

I grabbed the hem of Felix's shirt, fixed a pitiful expression on my face, and mumbled, "I believe you, Felix." Felix's expression softened as he helped me back to my feet. Taking advantage of the fact that the other wolves' attention was still on us, I retrieved a document from my bag and handed it to Felix. "I accidentally recorded your pup's blood type as AB when I registered his information last time. The truth is, his blood type is O." Felix's face twisted as he snatched the document from me.
