As she leaned forward to clean the last smear of blood from his skin, the hem of her tiny shirt lifted—and that’s when he saw it. A moon-shaped crescent, delicate yet fierce, curled low along her back. Before he could stop himself, his fingers reached for it—only for one of her plants to snap a thin green stem across his knuckles. “Ow—!” he hissed, jerking back. Lilune turned, her eyes gleaming with mischief as she said, “That’s a sign to keep your hands put, young man.” He smirked despite himself. “Well, I was just curious. Nice tattoo you’ve got there, though.”

They run around for half an hour before Luna talks again. 'Let me take control Tessa, I need to get out to an opening.' Luna pushes forward and runs to the clearing near the lake with Jarek and Landon following closely. Once in the opening Luna rises her head to the full moon.
